Mostly a quality product with some questionable claims
I had my eye on this pad for some time. I was originally interested in the Laid Back Pad ( https://www.amazon.com/LaidBackPad-Memory-Camping-Mattress-Connector/dp/B01COF6NNG ). I had watched some YouTube videos on it and read many reviews. I am completely FED UP with air mattresses loosing air during camping trips. I knew I had to go with foam but struggled with the weight versus support arguments.I may even pose that this pad is made by the same parent company as the Laid Back pad as they are using one of the same exact lifestyle images. Also the components are very similar. The big difference with this pad is that it's 30" wide whereas the Laidback pad is only 24" wide. The Laidback pad is only 2 3/8 thick whereas this Wilpo pad is 2 3/4 thick. It was that extra width that made me buy from Ironman instead, not the lure of getting a better deal.Manufacturers of these pads are constantly at odds with consumers complaining that either A: "The pad is too heavy and too bulky to carry!" or B: "The pad does not support my body when I sleep!"I had originally bought a Teton Universal Pad ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FE25VY ) which is similar to this but only 2" thick. That was 80" x 30" x 2" and 6 pounds compared to this Wilpo with 75"x30"x2.75 at 9.2 pounds. Then I bought a Lightspeed air pad ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FELZ3TW ) which let me tell you, I really LOVED but it kept loosing air and frustrated me to No End. That was also 6 pounds and 30" wide but had an advantage of an air layer to support your body.....if it would actually hold air!So, I came back to pure foam sleeping pads.Herein lies the rub.If you want a pure foam pad with "more support", it will weigh more. So people like me are struggling with getting a luxurious enough pad to sleep on that will also roll up neatly out of the way when not in use. When shopping for sleeping pads, make sure to look at how much they weigh. More weight equates to more quality but pads like the Laidback or Teton are trying to convince you that they are also good for "short hiking trips". Even this Willpo pad is shown as "easy to carry" and their suggestion there is perhaps Ironman walking 1/4 mile from a parking lot to a festival grounds to hear music. Or perhaps a half mile walk to the lake to lay down and watch people swim.Questionable ClaimsThis product fell short of five stars for me due some lofty claims such as "NO MORE Back-pain or annoying Discomfort from rocky terrain" or lauding "memory foam" but not alluding to just how much "memory foam" there is.It's a good product and yes it has some "memory foam" but see how the product listing carefully excludes just "how much" memory foam there is. These products are openly sold as "memory foam" but that is only "one layer" glued to another layer of "support foam". And some higher quality mattresses have a third layer of "closed cell foam" similar to a yoga mat.I was disappointed to only see 1/2 inch of "memory foam" when unzipping this pad. One of my photos shows this. I've gone round and round on whether "this is enough" as I've now slept on this pad for two weeks. If there was more memory foam, there would be less support foam and maybe the pad would sink more. Either that or the pad would have to be thicker overall. So perhaps 1/2 inch of memory foam is all they could manage to add without making the pad thicker and heavier. I understand the design choices but wish the product description was less lofty and dramatic and more technical.I've found that bigger "home mattresses" like guest trifolds like this Zinux model ( https://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Tri-Fold-Comfort-Portable-Mattress/dp/B079P6BWGR ) openly tell you how much of each layer you are getting. That information was absent here. That Zinus mattress is 21 pounds and probably very difficult to carry a short distance for a day of lounging. So it would be "car camping only".OK, so after much internal debate and thought, I realized they couldn't add a whole lot more foam to this mattress and still keep it somewhat compact, which leads me to my next disappointment.Your butt will hit the ground when sitting up to read on the pad. I'm a 6 foot, 180 pound male. And I wrote on the Teton pad review that it barely supported you on the ground. I called it a "cot topper only" as it barely supported you on earth or car cargo bays. This pad does seem to support my body when sleeping on my back. When side sleeping, I can detect the ground a bit. when sitting up reading, I can begin to feel the floor in my butt a bit. This is all to say, I think the support is pretty darn good for keeping the carrying weight down. It's like "just enough" to keep you supported if you lay just right on it.... I begrudgingly accepted all the variables. Sure, I could get a 6" Zinus tri-fold at 20 pounds. I would likely NEVER feel the ground in any contorted position I could imagine but I would be irritated with the weight and bulkiness to store. So to cure my OCD and extreme pickiness, I purchased an under-layer for car camping. A simple Amazon Basics Yoga Mat ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LP0U5X0 ). And this seems to offer "That last bit of support" I was looking for. It takes away the butt-sinking when I sit up and helps when I side-sleep for 10-15 minutes at night. It also adds some versatility to my camping gear. I can use the Yoga mat separate for a cot topper, etc. I can also roll up the Willpo mattress and Yoga Mat separate in the car and have more options for tighter storage.Waterproofing ClaimsI read one other review that "the pad absorbs water" and I think that man was mislead. The cover is actually a high quality "mattress protector". I recognize this material from the cover I bought for the bed in my house ( https://www.amazon.com/SafeRest-Hypoallergenic-Waterproof-Mattress-Protector/dp/B003PWNGQU/ ). My photos show the material beading water. And yes, it will appear that water is "soaking through" but it's not. I poured water on this pad and let it sit for an hour. Then I unzipped and inspected the foam and it was bone dry. The apparent "soaking" you see in the images is just the mechanics of the fabric. The fibers appear to be soaking because it's a "soft cover" unlike the noisy vinyl ones from the 70s that bed-wetters used. It is very water resistant and likely "rain proof". It may let water through if in standing water but I can't speak to that yet.Overall, this is a decent pad. The zipper and fabric appear to be above average quality. The support foam is well....just foam and you get a 1/2 inch of luxurious memory foam. Adult men will likely need an extra layer to keep their heavier bodies from hitting the ground. If I had all the information I now know, I may not have been willing to pay more than $100 for this pad. As it stands, I paid $120 and I feel that pushed me into a territory where other mattresses would compete. You are not so much paying for the foam as you are the bag; straps; and quality water-resistant cover. The 2.5 inches of support foam is run-of-the-mill foam you can probably buy for cheap as a raw material.I would call my rating 4.5 stars. I'm still debating on whether to keep it but I probably will.

I LOVE THESE!
These are solid for the money, in terms of weight, as they are nearly 10 lbs of foam to sleep on. Other camp pads, in comparison, (like Teton pads) are only around 6-8 lbs, and though some cost less, don't provide the cushioning to sleep on the ground. Trust me, the extra little bit of money you'll pay for the Willpo pads is worth it. There are other pads out there that cost twice as much as this pad but are only 24" wide. I don't know about you, but I like to sleep on a decently wide pad (30" -- those extra 6" make all the difference) so I don't feel like I'm crammed. So, for maximum foam density, being water-repellent (they aren't water-proof, per se), grippy nubs on the underside, and width, I give this pad maximum points. There are some areas for improvement. One is that the pads are not "joinable." If you're camping with family or a loved one, there is no way to join the pads, and the grip on the underside of the pad isn't that grippy, so there is some slippage. Secondly, this thing is IMPOSSIBLE to roll up and get into the straps provided. I am a pretty strong person AND I'm using my body weight in rolling this pad. They should have provided more length on the straps; it took two adult humans to roll this thing up!!! Third, this is a basic pad, lacking features. Fourth, it's a bit expensive for being so basic.UPDATE 08/11/2018:For the reasons above, I originally took off two stars, but since then have figured out an art to rolling the pads (you have to put your knee on it the entire way up, to keep it tightly bundled, and roll it very slowly and patiently to maximize tightness. I would suggest that the company add even just 1-2 more inches to the straps. I understand they want to keep the bundles tight, but the stuff sacks provided have plenty of room for pads that haven't been as tightly wound. I have put five stars because of the company's immediate response to my review, and because Amazon intervened on my behalf (due to some complaints I had) and gave me a bit of a credit. I would advise this company - a good and conscientious one - to look at the Teton camp pads, which has some cool features like a roll-up dowel to help get a very tight roll, pockets on the side in case you put the pad on a cot, and ties around the pad to tie it to a cot. That would make the Willpo pad outstanding. In fact, it would be the best one on the market for comfort, size, water-repellent, and the newly-added features.

Great mattress
I bought this mattress so I could sleep in my truck after Hurricane Michael put a tree through my roof. It was compact, easy to maneuver (for a mattress), and gave just enough cushion to my truck bed to sleep comfortably. I slept on this thing exclusively for about 3 weeks, and never had an issue. It handled water intrusions well, and never took on any stains, regardless of how many water drops were left on it. Very happy with this, and recommended to all my hurricane friends.

Super comfortable
This mattress fits perfectly in the back of my 2017 Toyota RAV4. I went on a 10 day road trip and spent every night in my car. At 58 and arthritic hips this was awesome. It is hard to roll back up as previous reviews have eluded to.

Never need an air mattress...ever!
After measuring, I ordered this for my 19' Chevy Blazer. It worked out perfectly! With or without the lift gate opened. I did have a sleeping bag on top, but I also sleep with "10" pillows at home. As you can see plenty of room for my dogs bed with and without sleeping bag. When my mattress arrived I opened it and laid it out on the floor so that it could thicken up at home. It does arrive air sealed. I could roll it up easily, to fit in bag provided. I don't know if this was on purpose but the bag was slightly bigger than the mattress once I rolled it up but you could fit your blanket in there or even your sheet and a pillow, so maybe that's why it's so big.
