Sheffa Savory bar, Spicy, 1.27 oz (Pack of 12)

I don't know whether it is the freshness , the recipe, or the wrapper, but this bar has really bad off-tastes and aftertastes now. I received my S&S box yesterday and the bars have an expiry of 03/03/2017. Maybe the taste deteriorates as it gets close to its expiration. I also can't believe I got shipped a box of 12 with only 3 weeks before its expiration date (not good, Amazon).This used to be my favorite bar, but this is the third box in a row where this has happened. I am writing this review after cancelling its Subscription in S&S. I still like the Rosemary, but its last two boxes of bars were either under or overdone (very light, almost uncooked taste or dark brown, almost burned taste

It's like a granola bar except actually good for you. They're just the right amount of crunchy and the spices are very nice. I've tried the everything and sesame versions as well but this the tastiest of them. 140 calories so it's perfect to tide you over as a nice snack.

These are unexpectedly dry and have a strange overly chemical type of spiciness that lingers. Normally i like spicy foods, but it is a bit bizarre. The flavors do not compensate for the amount of spiciness.

I have been on a search for savory bars to carry around with me and have had trouble finding ones without any sweetness at all. I like that these have no fruits or sweeteners. I actually like the crunchy texture and am not bothered that they fall apart. They have definitely a bit of spice, as advertised, but I liked it.

This is a review of the Sheffa Savory Bar (Spicy) horrid absolutely horrid there is a spice of some sort but the actual flavor of the bar is what I imagine eating paint would be like. Spit out the first one then since I had 11 more I tried another bar after the memory of the first had faded by a few days. Nope not just a bad bar that is the way they taste, no more chances out they go. I would send them to Guantanamo Bay if I knew how to get them there as a detainee would tell you anything you want to know not to eat them. Oh and did I tell you they were bad? W

I do not like or crave sweets very often. I always gravitate towards savory foods. I like the idea of bars for snacks and meal replacements, but I could not stomach the always sweet bars. I found these advertised in a magazine and ordered a case from amazon immediatley. I was sort of nervous that these would taste bland. These bars are actually delicious! They have just the right amount of spice and are savory, not sweet. Loaded with fiber and great taste. I love these bars for snacks when I am on the go and unable to stop for food. The best part? They are gluten free.

Tasty/spicy with a nice crunch. I just ordered the Everything flavor to try next.

Was so excited to get a no sugar energy bar. Should have first sampled one at my health food store before investing in a box of 12. My 1st and last bite was most unpleasant. The spicy was like burning hot followed by a chemical after taste. If the person who rated this 5 stars will get in touch with me, I'll be happy to forward my nonrefundable box of 11 to her or him for free.
