Barbie Clothes: 1 Outfit for Ken Doll Includes Graphic T-Shirt, Purple Shorts and Eyeglasses, Gift for 3 to 8 Year Olds ​, GHX47

This outfit fit my Mattel BTS doll (mine is BTS Suga, but all of the original BTS dolls have identical bodies) - The package included a shirt, long shorts, and glasses. Here's what was NOT INCLUDED: the toy cat (from Schleich) and the shoes (from Ken's Malibu sweatshirt outfit set... one of the few Ken shoes that fit my BTS dolls. Finding shoes for BTS dolls is surprisingly hard...) - The t-shirt is a perfect fit-- it's the best part of the outfit. It's tighter on the arms and baggier on the waist, similar to how a real men's shirt fits. The material's fabric is in-scale-- not too thin or too thick. I especially liked how detailed the graphics are (red roses with gothic bold letters spelling out the word "Love.") - The pants are too baggy in the waist because Mattel's BTS dolls have thinner waists and hips than the original Ken dolls. The baggy fit is especially obvious without a shirt: there is a large gap between the waist and his pants which resembles a "before and after" diet ad. Thankfully, the pants don't fall off when I pose my doll (so Suga can maintain his dignity.) Also, the baggy-ness became less visible once I put the shirt on (but alas, these pants aren't an option for shirtless styles. R.IP. 90s style...) - The glasses are hard to get on, but look good resting on top of my doll's head. These "glasses" are made of bendy soft plastic which is translucent in color, and has gold color printed on it to create the frames. The plastic is so soft that it was difficult to fit the glasses on my doll's head. After several attempts, I finally got them to fit over his eyes-- only for the glasses to pop off when I posed him for photos. Ultimately, I put the glasses on his head (Suga's hair is very gelled and unforgiving, but the glasses found a happy home in BTS V's wavy hair. Soooo, these might fit some BTS and Ken dolls better than others.) Although these glasses would look better in solid plastic with a metallic gold color, I'm pleased with them because they have "real lenses." I especially like how they look in photos! - Since no shoes were included in this look, below are Ken shoes that fit my BTS dolls and could complete this look: 1. BARBIE SHOES THAT FIT ON BTS DOLL: Malibu Sweatshirt, Camo Fashion Pack/Camouflage (fit if you push hard, but I stopped doing this out of fear of damaging my doll) 2. SHOES THAT DID NOT FIT BTS DOLL: Pink Check hoodie, New York t-shirt, Hawaiian Shirt 3. NON-BARBIE SHOE OPTIONS: Some 1/6 *MALE* action figure shoes that are ~5cm long also fit BTS boys. This is especially true for rubber shoes with laces you tie yourself. Shoes that fit average-sized Phicen and Hot Toys male action figures sometimes fit BTS dolls, but cost more than Barbie shoes. Overall: Great outfit!

This t-shirt is really nice feeling. It is thick and soft fabric. Why can't all Barbie / Ken shirts and clothes be like this shirt??? Shorts are a unique color and the glasses are very fun. WIN. I wasn't that excited when I ordered. Pleasant surprise.

The outfit is very cool. The glasses remind me of Harry Potter’s. It fits great and looks great on a Ken Doll.

This outfit is a pretty bizarre combo—lavender shorts with a red / yellow / black t? The sandals? Yeah it’s bad, but it was super cheap when I bought it, and the t-shirt is extremely high quality. Fits MTM Ken / BMR 1959 / 1968 Ken / 2009 Harley Ken

The outfit is pretty hip and would possibly fit most Ken models…except Tate. The new beefy and buff made to move signature looks. The t-shirt is fairly tight on him and the shorts, I couldn’t even get it passed his calves. It shouldn’t be an issue with other models though. I’ll update with a photo later. There’s no cons really unless you’re buying the outfit at a higher gouged out price.

Although these are simple clothes, they are well made. And I love the glasses they come with.

The outfit for Ken was delivered this morning. It took slightly longer to arrive than usual but it did arrive safe and in good packaging. It's sewn really well and the printed T-shirt is very trendy. The shorts do NOT fit the muscular Ken doll but the shirt 👕 fits okay. The round pink specs 🕶 look very feminine but they'll fit any Barbie OR Ken. It's a good value for the money as its a Sale item. Thanks.
