TSL Snowshoes Symbioz Expert Snowshoe

Awesome snowshoes! I was leary to purchase these as I couldn't find any reviews on this style in particular but the reviews I found on the brand were stellar. Pulled them out of the box and was still skeptical, they seemed chinsey compared to my MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes. My boyfriend and I took them out on their maiden voyage today and used them on-trail both ascent and descent and they performed excellent! I would have no doubts in their performance off-trail. They are very 'barefoot' for snowshoes. There is a lot of flexion every which way which seems much more natural to my normal stride vs the standard snowshoe stride. Also, I didn't feel like I was swinging my feet out and around one another as I hiked to avoid hitting the opposed snowshoe platform as I feel like I do in my MSR's. As far as flotation, the size small (which is 20.5 inches) seems to have every bit of flotation as my 22 inch MSR's. Also, their grip left nothing to be desired, I didn't feel any slip what so ever. They are extremely light, hardly could tell I was wearing them. The heel elevators are handy and make steep inclines feel like climbing stairs with ease. The bindings are different than I am use to. I was wearing women's Salomon Toundra boots and the binding toe nose had some play even in boots. This however didn't seem to affect my stability one bit. The sole of the binding adjusts forward and back to fit your footwear, reminds me of the old roller skates that had the key. There is also an adjustable back binding strap that wraps around the ankle portion of your boot. It is much like a ski boot strap. Seems like once the bindings are set for your footwear it will be quick getting in and out of them. All in all I was very pleased with these snowshoes in performance, ease of use and fit.

I have only had these snowshoes for a couple months but I am extremely impressed. They are very light weight and flexible. I participated in a 4 mile snowshoe race last weekend and they preformed awesome, especially on the steep and narrow downhill.

Ho acquistato queste ciaspole per rottura di metà stagione del fissaggio dell'attacco delle mie preferite MSR Lightning Ascent (inserisco il link di quelle da donna che, ad oggi, si trovano su Amazon per capire quali sono  MSR Lightning Ascent da donna - neve Scarpe donna heliobil ); fortunatamente me le hanno sostituite in garanzia dopo 3 anni (!!!) con il modello aggiornato, ma ho avuto modo di usare queste per un bel po'.La Ascent mantengono, a mio giudizio, un po' di vantaggio di trazione e stabilità sui tratti ripidi con nevi dure, e il fatto di avere i denti di trazione lungo tutto il telaio esterno le avvantaggia ancor di più sui traversi (è vero che con le ciaspole bisognerebbe farli solo quando non si può evitarli, ma ogni tanto non si può).Le Symbioz però sono più "maltrattabili" e si possono usare con meno patemi d'animo su percorsi con innevamenti non perfettamente adeguati al terreno sottostante.A parte i terreni tagliati su misura per le Ascent (e solo in confronto a loro), le Symbioz vanno che è un piacere: non c'è paragone con qualsiasi altra ciaspola di livello basso o medio.Ho acquistato la versione nera con l'attacco anteriore più "basico" perché avevo urgenza e le rosse non erano disponibili al momento, ma contengono comunque bene lo scarpone.In definitiva sono "un buon compromesso al top" (non si può essere i migliori sotto tutti gli aspetti) e meritano le 5 stelle. Ottimo prodotto, migliorato nei suoi punti deboli. Ho già acquistato un modello l'anno scorso con difetti ai cinghietti che si sganciavano, mentre in questo modello i cinghietti sono dotati di cricchetto a leva da entrambe le parti, molto più sicuri ed efficienti. La ciaspola è molto versatile e permette una camminata più naturale sui vari tipi di pendio che si vanno ad affrontare. Prodotto arrivato nei termini della spedizione.

Bin begeistert von den Schneeschuhen, haben mir im Winter in den Dolomiten sehr gute Dienste geleistet. :)Angenehmes Laufen durch die Flexibilität des Schneeschuhes und auch die Bindung ist sehr gut, ratzfatz angezogen.Im Lieferumfang war auch noch eine Tragetasche, was will man mehr.

Sehr gut. Man kann super damit gehen. Leider kann man die gute Bindung beim Bergab gehen an der Ferse nicht fixieren
