Boxer - Boxer 5 Piece Tamper Proof Precision Screwdriver - TP5-00005

First, I am not an expert or professional, but I did electrical work for about eleven years. I only used the (yellow) or (TT-8) screwdriver. I repaired my PS3 slim game console. There are four (TT-8) torx screws on the bottom of the console. The screwdriver worked well. These screwdrivers are approx (4-3/8 inch) or (111 mm) from the tip of the metal shank to the colored ball end. The metal shanks are approx (13/16 inch) or (21 mm) long. The tips have a hole in the center for the torx security post. The screwdriver bodies are made of very hard light plastic. The metal shanks are made of black glossy metal. The metal has a hardened look (?) The colored ball end also has a slot for a slotted screwdriver. The colored balls are hollow in the center. The colored balls spin freely. There is german writing inside the case. (MECHANIKER-SCHRAUBENOREHER-SATZ5-tlg). These screwdrivers seem like precision quality tools. The price seems very reasonable when compared to similar products on Amazon, especially for someone like me who may only use them one time. I am 100% satisfied. Bought this mostly for the TR6 that is included to do an SSD install in a Mac Mini. If this is why you are here then just stop reading and buy it. This is what you want. Both the outer package and the plastic case feel pretty cheap and the handles are a bit chintzy but the tool tips are perfect. No funny cut or missing holes. No slipping. Your money is buying quality in the part that counts. Made the Mac Mini install a breeze. I have no doubt they'll come in handy in the future as well.Money well spent.

Took apart an xbox 360 controller and the T8 worked great. I'd imagine you wouldn't want to put too much muscle into them because they seemed like they may twist / bend. It didn't when I used it though.This kit was worth the money! I like the hard case that comes with it. It fits in my Pro's Kit bag very nicely.Good addition to my Wiha tools!

As previously stated, this is the one you need to get into the Mac Mini late 2014 torx security screws. includes the TR6 and TR9 which is all you need to disassemble and reassemble it. Unless you need a more expansive tool kit, you don't need to buy a more expensive set from ifixit ($50!) or OWC, which doesn't even include the right security bits.

Great kit if you own an Apple computer. Build quality is poor. Use them gently!

Worked perfectly, item is sturdy and built well. Was able to work on my xbox 360, ps3, and controllers with it.

Quality T6 and T9 drivers. I used this to replace the HDD on my 2014 mac mini and it is perfect!
