Durable!
Loved this product. Great for handling and casting. Ended up in the ocean after a shark broke the pvc pipe it was held in! The pipe broke before the pole!

Excellent rod blank. Very sensitive tip.
It's a 3 peice rod but doesn't feel that way when your casting it. The rod blank loads up nicely when throwing 2-5oz sputnik sinkers. The tip is very sensitive and you can definitely see when the fish are hitting your bait. I would recommend putting on some x wrap on the handle and put a rubber butt end on it.I've had mine for 2 years now and it's time to replace the guides. Which is understandable because I'm guilty of not rinsing the rod off with fresh water after using it at the beach.

Misleading advertising on this rod
This rod is being advertised as a baitcasting rod but it is not and it doesn't have enough foam grip on the rod. I am not happy with it

Light and powerful
The media could not be loaded. The price for this rod was a steal. Added some x wrap and a rubber butt stock from amazon to the handle and it practically looks/feels like a $300 rod. The rod is thin for a 13 fter but is solidly built. The sweet spot for max distance casting is 3-4 oz weight/lures. Paired it with a 4500 daiwa elimnator on 40 lb j braid grand. The connection for the 3 pcs work a little too well, I struggled a little to disassemble them but that just means the rod isn't going to fall apart while casting. Was also surprised that it came in it's own bag for the 3 pcs. Being a european model makes this a hard find in the US but guarantees you'll have a rod no one else has. I can see this rod becoming my go to for dam fishing when you need to launch heavy lures far for stripers.

Diawa sea hunter rod
Great backbone and super light. I paired it with a Penn battle 2 6000 and let it fly. I can really rocket those surf casts a lot farther
