Amazing
I have oily skin and am addicted to anything that helps it feel smooth. I decided to try this because using more glycolic acid can't possibly hurt, right? LOL. This facial cleanser is perfect for helping achieve that. The cleanser comes in a small 4oz pump bottle. It's not very much, but you don't need much for your skin either. It's a gel and the consistency is watery. It has a pleasant citrus scent. By itself, I can't see this cleaning anyone's skin of oil, makeup, or dirt.As I mentioned before, my skin is oily. To maximize the potential of this cleanser, I wash with a hypoallergenic cleanser first. That way my skin is oil free and ready for this cleanser. Then I rub this one into my skin for about a minute, then use a facial spin brush with a silicone brush attachment for another 1-2 minutes. The spin brush is important because it helps massage the cleanser into the pores and helps the skin absorb the glycolic acid better. I do this with the prewash too. The result is a warming sensation when I first rub this cleanser into my skin. This is how you know it's working. I do this 1-2x a week. The result is the softest skin you've ever had. It is drying, even for oily skin, so if you have dry skin already, you'll definitely want to use a moisturizer afterwards. For me, hyaluronic acid is enough to add moisture back. Now let's talk about what this doesn't do. It's not going to peel your skin. It's not going to reduce lines or wrinkles. It may or may not shrink your pores depending on how big they are to begin with. It's not the best choice for acne either. So why use it then? Because of all the chemical exfoliation products I've tried, this one is the best. It will definitely aid in keeping your pores clean. It does prompt skin renewal. It helps even out skin texture. It's good stuff. Just don't expect it to work miracles.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product for the price they charge!
I really like this face wash. It does exactly what it should do as a glycolic acid product. No bells and whistles or anything fancy or extra, and in my opinion that's perfect; I don't want any extra BS in my skincare products. The simplicity of it is probably why the company can make their products effective AND affordable.Anyways this feels really strange to use because of the squeaky feeling it gives when using it but that's typical for a glycolic acid. I have to rub this on my face for at least 30 seconds to get the tingly/itching sensation that one gets with glycolic acid, which is fine. It makes my skin look and feel sooooo much cleaner. My pores are smaller now that I've been using it semi regularly and after just the first use my skin was soft and matte and just really clean. I am so impressed by the price and quality of this face wash! I didn't expect that it would be legit at the price they're selling it at but yes ! This is a big thumbs up from me and I'll continue to purchase from them again and again.Oh one more thing! The bottle is still half full and I've had it for just over a month, so a little goes quite a ways.

Great, gentle face wash but makes me look like a shiny egg
This is a very gentle face wash. The texture is sort of gel-like.If you're expecting a foam type cleanser, like I was, this may puzzle you because it feels like it's not doing anything. But it does - it's very gentle and thoroughly cleans your face. However, I ended up returning this because after using this 3 times (with no other change to my skincare routine), my face sort of ended up looking like a very shiny egg. Not because my skin was oily.. but it was just very, very shiny. Like reflecting light sort of shiny. I've never had this happen and it was sort of weirdly fascinating. But no matter how much I liked the face wash, I just couldn't get over how shiny my face was so back it went.

Love at first wash
I decided to try a glycolic wash at the recommendation of my esthetician. She said my "congested" skin was in need of a chemical exfoliant as my tried-and-true mechanical exfoliant (aka gritty scrub) wasn't cutting it anymore. In lieu of forking out a pretty penny for her fancy spa brand I decided to come to trusty Amazon first - I was not let down! This product packs a punch for the price and worked almost immediately for me. I live in Colorado and the high altitude plus brutal winters leaves my face feeling rough and flaky. First wash and my face was the smoothest it's ever been, pesky acne flare ups I've been fighting for months cleared up in days. I AM SOLD. I did get some mild irritation around my chin the first go but I'm almost certain it was user error. I washed my face over my sink and I'm thinking I did not wash the product off my face well enough... I will only use in the shower now. Make sure to rinse well, start slow, and don't forget the SPF. I have sensitive skin so I am working my way up from twice weekly to avoid any possible complications, it is a type of mild acid... after all.Buy it, you won't be disappointed!Observation: (and this is not necessarily a bad thing, just something to note) it doesn't smell the best - not a bad smell, but it's not highly scented, if you're into that. I'd prefer not to have any extra fragrances and crap on my already struggling skin, so this is a non-issue for me.Second observation, and this is true with many products, the bottle was only about 3/4 full. Again, this may be a deal breaker for some but with the price point and results, I am willing to let it go. I will be buying again!
