The packaging is very small, but you literally need the smallest amount and it glides on smoothly and doesn’t leave a residue behind. The smell is subtle and I put it on my shoulder after cleaning the porch ceilings and my hands after they’d been in water all day. Seriously one of the best products I’ve come across. I can’t wait to get the entire collection. I’m glad I started with the ancient oils, but my next will be the arnica for sure. Great product.

I had originally stumbled across this product in the attempt to find a version of icthammol more amiable than the ointment.Full disclosure I am an herbalist, but only hobby at this point. I've spent years crafting various quality salves for my own personal use, but find less and less time to do that in my current career.When I saw this was a small business and they had an amazing sampler of their salves. I was all in! I got the sampler! For the price WOW!The icthammol drawing salve is a wonder. It will stain as pine tar does but won't leave you a sticky icky mess. It's creamy!! I never thought I'd see icthammol creamy (2nd pic shows) 🤣🤣The other salves have proven useful daily since they arrived! Packaging and labeling was lovely. Sea buckthorn is my new go to for hives!These are high quality. They pay attention to Temp when making....no weird separation of ingredients or little oil balls. Also an indication of good quality ingredients. These are very light to nearly unscented which is also good. I do like salves with lots of smelly EO's, but my boyfriend who has to sleep next to me does not. 😅These go on smooth and as advertised to really help with whatever ails ya. Definitely will be stocking up again as I use up the samples, but they are generously sized at 1 Oz and should last a while!Support this small business! Herbalist life is hard but worth it and they are definitely doing it right :)

I have been struggling with a rash on my neck which worsened whenever I exercised. Nothing was clearing it permanently and it was hard to tell if anything other than a steroid cream was even helping at all. I saw a few suggestions that anhydrous lanolin could possibly help with heat rash, eczema, and related conditions. I figured I would give it a try.This has been the only thing that has worked for me. I apply it to my neck immediately before exercising and after showering. My rash has vanished!I have begun using it on my hands and feet too. It is clearly a superior moisturizer to almost anything else I have tried. It does have a bit of a sheep/hay-like smell, but it’s actually not as unpleasant as one might think from that description. The container is small, but it is so thick and emollient. I have now purchased another brand of medical grade refined lanolin which has less scent. It is also effective but is not quite as thick and rich. I will likely use the other brand instead when I am going out after applying in case the scent of this one is detectable.I was worried I might be allergic to lanolin given my skin is very reactive and I have other allergies, but luckily I am not. I would very much recommend this lanolin for troublesome rashes or dry skin.I also really appreciate that this lanolin is certified cruelty free.

I was looking for a lanoline ointment that doesn't use pesticides to treat their sheeps wool and this company personally answered my question to verify that they do NOT use pesticides. I used Lansinoh for years for chapped lips and nose (ugh, allergy season is 12 months for me) since I found it when nursing years ago. Recently found info that showed lanolin commonly contains pesticide residue. Disgusting! How unhealthy! I'm not a health nut, but am slowly looking for ways to reduce chemicals in small ways wherever I can within reason. This product makes me feel better about that. It is a bit more "sheep-y" than lansinoh, but I added a drop of essential oil so it's not so noticable. A small price to pay for a healthier product.

While they obviously haven't added any scents to this, it has an overwhelmingly powerful odor of a sheep barn. I can't comment on the quality of the product because the smell made it impossible for me to use.

I've bought this lanolin on two different occasions. The first time I bought this I was just looking for good organic lanolin and thought I'd try it. The jar lasted a long time because I only needed a little bit at a time. Once that was gone, I decided to get it again because I loved it so much. The second jar I bought does have a much stronger smell than the first one, but that's the only difference. The first one didn't smell like anything, but this new jar smells kind of like tar (don't know why). I'll still use it simply because it's such a great product. Nevertheless, I suggest this brand to everyone. Fabulous product!

I have a bad habit of picking at my lips sometimes, which can leave them looking chapped. This product has helped me to kick that habit. It seems to heal my lips overnight. It is a natural product and doesn't have the unnecessary additives in a lot of chapsticks that actually dry out your lips. It also looks like a nice lip gloss. I highly recommend it as a substitute for any chapsticks.

This salve is money! I have sensitive skin and had a rash. This salve cleared it up immediately! Will keep this on hand from now on!
