One day, I was trying to remove a pan of lasagna from the oven with a traditional oven mitt. Unfortunately, my oven is a little small and my oven mitt was WAY too big. Because of this... I accidentally dipped the thumb of the mitt into the pan. I was so disappointed because I had JUST washed that oven mitt. I thought... there HAS to be a better way! Why doesn't someone make a silicone mitt!? Well, here is it!I love these gloves. Not only can my husband use them for grilling but I can use them in place of my traditional fabric mitts/pot holders in the kitchen. We even use them to get hot plates out of the microwave. When using them, I have felt no heat... at all. My favorite part is that they can be washed off! (no more having to throw the oven mitts in the laundry!)I'm not sure if there are different "qualities" of silicone, but these gloves seem to be made of good quality, thicker silicone. I imagine they last forever. They slide on and off the hand very easy (they do not pull the hair on you arms like one might think). They are a little on the large side but they are no larger than a traditional sized mitt. Also, this means they aren't too small for my husband's hand.The gloves are bright green with a heart textured pattern (the little "bumps" on the gloves are the hearts). The glove is very flexible and not stiff... making it easy to grab things. Also, because of the material and texture... it also acts as a grip so, I can use it to open pickle jars! :)Highly recommended.Please note: I received a discount on this item in exchange for this review. I am a tall man with long fingers. That being said, these were about a half inch too short from fitting me correctly. I really like the idea of silicone gloves to replace oven mitts and to use for grilling, but for me I think I would prefer ones that fit perfectly as it restricts my finger movements somewhat. I appreciate that they upfront in advertising "one size fits most" instead of one size fits all, so I am not going to dock them any stars for the fact my hands don't fall into "most".Do they still work? Yes, fantastically. I used them to handle a pot of boiling water, and I just handled the pot itself with no ill effects or concerns about heat. I grilled with them, cleaned my hot grill and usually I have to be careful about getting my hands too close to the grates. Not this time. My grill was easily 400+ degrees and I had no problems.The best part is I got them dirty, and just washed them off with a soapy sponge and threw them in my drying rack. No stained oven mitts, or having to do laundry to wash an oven mitt. I will probably use them as a quick trivet to throw a pot on the counter when I need to briefly. They also come with a little hole to hang them, which is great.They do have little hearts as the texture, which I actually like because it's not really noticeable until you get up close, and if someone does notice it's pretty funny :-) I received this product at a discounted price so I could give it an honest review.

When I was given a discount on these gloves for my unbiased opinions, I must say that they clearly worked as advertised. When working on the grill with low heat BBQ, they're awesome. You can spend a while working on your food without worrying about the heat. When grilling pizza at high temperature, you do have to be quicker about it because they're only rated for 425 F. The glove design (cute 💚 design, but not manly 😂) allows for a good grip of both cooking tools and plates, not something you can consistently say about cloth mitts. The convenient hook hole makes it easy to keep all your gloves organized and near where you might need it most. When they say one size fits most, it really means slightly loose fit for small hands and much tighter fit for medium to large hands. As long as you dry your hands before slipping on these gloves, you should be fine. Put some flour inside the gloves to make it easy to put on and take off.

These are made of high quality and do not get hot at all. They work well when being and cleaning the bbq and getting stuff out of the oven. They can be easily cleaned with running water.I was given a discount for the product to write the review.
