Holman KJV King James Version Super Giant Print Bible: Black Imitation Leather Imitation Leather – 1996

I paid less than $10.00 for this Bible, and I must say it was well worth the money! The cover is very basic cardboard with a "grained" paper covering over it, which isn't so nice, but I wouldn't expect more at this price point. The print is the largest I've seen, 18.5 font! I love the super giant print. The words of Christ are in red, which I also love. It does have a presentation page. Only basic references, which is fine with me, as I have several reference books that I prefer to use. With these super giant print Bibles too many references just make the Bible even heavier and thick. It does have two nice colorful maps, however. The pages show slight bleed-through from the other side, but not enough to be distracting. The binding is sewn which was a nice surprise at this price point. The Bible lays pretty flat when opened. It has gold colored edges, but they aren't gilded. I gave this Bible five stars despite the cheaply made cover because it meats all the other marks I'm looking for in a Bible, and at an excellent price. However, I don't think this cover would hold up well if carrying back and forth to Church. I don't plan to use it for that purpose, so that suits me fine.
