Fantastic sauce, a totally approachable introduction to the super hots
Man oh man, this stuff is good. I bought this sauce because this is my first time growing super hots and I wanted to know how hot they really were before I start cooking with them. With all the rumors and stupid videos of people eating ghost peppers and ending up floored, in the hospital, and/or internet famous; I thought this sauce would be a total novelty, some stupidly hot sauce you buy to trick your friends into emasculating themselves by volunteering to eat some chokingly hot poison, this was not the case. Firstly I should mention that my spice tolerance is pretty high, but I wouldn't call mysefl a "chili-head". I douse my eggs with Trader Joes habanero sauce and it burns me pretty well, but I love the flavor and the rush so I just keep doing it. Opening a bottle Daves Scorpion Sauce and taking a wiff, you're greeted with the smell of freshly crushed peppers, no vinegar sting like Tabasco, it smells delicious. The taste is amazing, right before the burn really kicks in, the unique and intense tropical fruit flavor of scorpion peppers shines through. Holy crap is it hot, way hotter than any habanero sauce! The heat stings instantly and builds slowly on the back of the tongue and the throat to a real five alarm level. Its not totally unmanageable and the flavor keeps me coming back for more. If you are looking for a stupid, suffocatingly hot pepper sauce, buy something with extracts. If you want a delicious, simple, fiery and flavorful scorpion pepper sauce, Dave is your man.

Good in your mouth... Prepare yourself for the other side lol
This is the best hot sauce you can buy. I crave it when I'm out of it and nothing else compares. The flavor is second to none and it goes really well with eggs. Only downside is the cost per bottle. $10 for 5oz is pretty steep. But it lasts a long time because it's literally a one drop at a time hot sauce. That said, it's hot as a bot. You definitely have to pace yourself because if you don't let it cool off in your mouth before taking another drop it'll just double up exponentially. It's very easy to overwhelm yourself so easy slowly. Don't add it to things and mix it in to add heat. It's not that kind of hot sauce. You'll ruin your dish if you do that. The flavor under the heat is too bold. Keep those in mind and you won't go wrong. I love it.

Very nice!
This really packs a lot of heat but with still a nice flavor profile. This will be a staple in the house!! I wish they made bigger bottles.

Quality Hot Sauce
The bottle arrived in perfect condition, expertly packaged. It's a thicker sauce than Tabasco and has a deeper and brighter flavor than most. I put four drops in a 12 ounce bowl of rice and lentils and gave it a good stir. It has a subtle tropical flavor, like mangos and papaya, with heat that sets in after a minute or so. It's a pleasant burn but not overwhelming like the hottest sauces. I sampled an extra drop on a spoonful of lentils. After about 30 seconds, it felt like I had a solar flare in my mouth. It was sharp and painful, but not crippling. It was definitely a "good pain" but didn't get me scrambling for milk, tomato juice, or bread. In about 5 minutes, I had a nice endorphin rush but no lingering pain. When I'm in the mood for it, this one fits the bill.

Hot with good flavor.
California reapers hot but this hot sauce has better flavour then just heat. It is still very hot but tasty.

Tasty but not hot
Great hot sauce taste. It was not scorpion hot! Fast delivery. Thicker hot sauce. Was delicious! Shelf life no preservatives so must refrigerate.

I hate spicy foods and this absolutely is spicy... but I really, really enjoy it.
I don't eat hot sauce or spicy foods often. I go out of my way to avoid spicy foods. I have trouble eating no spice from a Thai restaurant (the food is great, I'm just trying to make my point). So for me to try this is a huge leap into the unknown, feared land of hot sauce. I put 4 chunky drops into some chili (one sitting, not the whole recipe) and it made my eyeballs sweat a little. I really enjoyed it though. In some odd way this was a great experience. I have no reference for other spicy foods as I have avoided them all of my life. If I can use this sauce nearly anybody can. It is hot no doubt, but use sparingly and see that the hot-heads out there have a point. Hot sauce can add flavor and heat; not just a terrible, sweaty, cursing pain. This was a great introduction into the hot food world for me and I do think I'll explore a little more if I ever get bored of this sauce.

This one's definitely a keeper! If you're someone who has a relatively high tolerance for hot chilli, this is a hot and delicious sauce. The scorpion pepper flavour is bold, sharp and envelopes the mouth with a warm and sumptuous buzz. This is a chilli based sauce and you can really savour the flavour of the scorpion peppers at its base. It does pack quite a big initial punch, but does not linger too long and is nowhere near as hot as the extract based "Insanity" sauces, which personally I find too hot to really enjoy as sauces and at most would use as flavourings in tiny doses. Even so, in my opinion, only a little Scorpion Pepper Hot Sauce is required to really jazz up most dishes or sandwiches and it does a great job of it! However, if you tend to find jalapeno peppers on your pizzas a bit of a mouth-burner or struggle with discomfort when eating a hot curry, this is likely gonna be a little high on the heat scale for you, so be warned!
