Vermont Bread, Bread White English Muffin Organic, 12 Ounce

My favorite english muffin is Bay's, I can also eat Thomas. They have the nooks and crannies, crisp up well, very traditional.These Vermont Bread were NOT anything like that. On the outside, they "look" like they might be an EMuffin, but upon cutting...you realize you have basically a hamburger bun. In fact I had a plain white hot dog bun recently and it was the exact same texture/mouth feel. Doughy, gummy (as another reviewer noted).No bad taste, but the texture, my goodness, it was not what I wanted.You could use them as a sandwich bun I suppose.

Which is something I have noticed with a number of products lately. They have become really 'gummy' (even more than the whole wheat version) and you have to toast them until they are nearly burnt or they stick to your teeth like glue. They are barely cut, so you have to cut them yourself or they tear to crumbly bits. Won't be buying anymore.

Hands down, these are the tastiest English muffins that I have ever had in my 32 years of life! They taste of much better quality than the big brand most of us know. Big, fresh, with a slight taste of sweetness.

We usually buy the big name brand, but we now have a dairy allergy in our house and it’s surprising how many everyday foods contain dairy or a derivative. This one is DAIRY FREE and delicious. Toasts up crisply. Will continue to buy!

I love these english muffs, but they tend to go bad fast. I keep them in the freezer now!

These are the best tasting muffins you can get. Both the Honey White and Honey Wheat are delicious. The muffins I see in the local grocery stores have not fully risen, look mostly terrible and the taste is only so-so.

Totally flat inside, is it even an english muffin?

They taste good, but I was really expecting the nooks and crannies in my English Muffins.
