For the price this thing is perfect for any doctor who costume. I have a gigantic noggin so it doesn't completely fit my head, but for the normal human who isn't 6'4" this should work perfectly. It doesn't look small on my head, but it'd fall off if I did any extreme movements. If you are plagued with a giant head it's an easy fix with a glue gun and a couple of bobby pins. This is an adult size and it would probably engulf a child's head. This product looks exactly like it does in the picture so you shouldn't have to worry about getting an item that isn't correct.

I bought this as a gift for a huge Dr. Who fan, thinking it would be displayed, but not at all... wearing it all the time. Fits well and very comfortable. Very pleased with this purchase!

It's really nice but too big for children as part of Aladin's costume. I was hoping it'd be half it's size though it fits adults or people with a big head (like my husband ;) ) quite well. Overall, I like it. I'd give it five stars if it were smaller in size. I guess it just depends on what exactly you need it for. In my case it serves it's purpose.

We bought this for my son who took a recent fascination to fezes. It is a good quality hat made with thick, sturdy material that should last for quite a while if properly cared for. For the price I actually expected it to be a cheap, flimsy hat, but was pleasantly surprised to the contrary. The tassel is cheap - especially in comparison to the hat overall - but as long as you're not swinging it around by the tassel, it should be just fine.

Hat was made well & would have been perfect except it was too large for my grandson. We needed one to complete a Halloween costume but he's only 2 so it didn't fit at all. I wasn't able to find one designated specifically for a child so I ended up having to cut it & restitch to fit his head, therefore it served the purpose. If you have an adult size head should be fine.

The tassel fell off before I could even give it as a Christmas present. We fixed it with a tapestry needle and within a day the whole thing broke apart. It's being held on with a zip tie now. I thought it was nice when I got it but now I'm really disappointed in this.

My daughter loves it (hence the five stars). I do think, as others have said, that it is quite big. It doesn't fall off my girl's head, so it will work for us. It is lightweight. I have told her to treat it gently, as I don't think it would survive a crushing. I think if it was smashed or folded, it would not go back to shape. She bought it for Halloween, so to play it safe, she won't be wearing it until then. I think for cosplay, it's fine.

We bought this fez for our 12-year-old Dr. Who fan. He's on the small side for an almost-teenager. Typically he wears a boys' XL in shirts and 14-16 in jeans. We expected the fez to be a bit big for him (and it is) but we will put some padding in it to snug it up on his head for now. It's a true, bright red color and it arrived in a box big enough to protect it from being crushed or flattened. It was a big hit! Because fezzes are COOL.
