Inserted in the mug is a removable stainless steel mesh infuser, which enables you to make tea from either loose tea, tea bags, or instant or round coffee. The infuser is easy to remove and clean, and can be used over and over again. The mug is 4.25" high and the capacity when full is 8ozs. The rim of the mug has a gold trim, and so cannot be used in a microwave.
