I found the other book a I purchased a little more helpful. I was sort of put off by the section regarding naming your pig and the "suggested" or "encouraged" names you should choose.

I'm interested in the possibility of a new family piggy pet and this is my first book on the subject, having read quite a bit online. Positives: well written with clear information on the history, care, training and behaviour of micro pigs. However, this is an American book, and although there are some references to UK care it does feel like it's been put in after. Subsequently the housing section is a little general as it covers the diverse climate of the US and many of the legal bits are irrelevant. There are no pictures in the book so you won't be oogling cute piglets, however as it asks the real questions about whether you'd be right to care for a pig that's perhaps not such a bad thing. All in all a good first buy but I shall be looking for a UK originated book. I would give 3.5 stars if I could.
