Excellent image quality
I am using this USB camera to make an automated image acquisition system. The device was readily recognized by my Windows 10 machine. The picture is quite sharp, with good color. The lens focus is fixed, but it looks like it will be pretty easy to pick off a bit of glue and be able to focus more sharply. For my purposes, the image quality was paramount and this is a good combination of chip and lens.I have not tried to push the edge in terms of fps. This is a USB 2.0 device and I'm using the camera in a very non-standard environment (a sketch in the Processing programming environment, also tried streaming using VLC), and image stabilization/acquisition may be slow for some folks. It doesn't matter for me. The USB cable plugs into the PC board, which is great for building and hacking. Four mounting holes are provided. If you are not comfortable with bare PC boards, exposed components, etc., don't buy this. If you are comfortable, you'll dig right in. Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase.

not for bright sunlight
This is a very nice well made camera. No problems connecting to Raspberry Pi using v4l2. Taking pictures outside in bright light did not work for me as the picture became washed out. The listing shows an outdoor picture. In summary nice camera for lower light use.
