The best by far
Absolutely the best. Worth every dollar, wish they made it in larger sizes. This can help SO many people and caretakers. This is by far the BEST gait belt, transfer belt, therapy belt. It can go under the belly. My dad has a bit of a tummy, that's why I wish it came in larger sizes, but it fits him great. He is skinny with a bit of a belly and I want this product made for everyone. The world is not one size fits all. Forget the gait belts that go around the ribs. That is hard on the ribs. This has a durable stretchy band and is reinforced with a locking waist band. I love it, our occupational therapists love it and our physical therapists love it.

Secure, sturdy and well made
Excellent gait/ mobility belt. Secure & Sturdy.. Better than belts with nylon hand loops. Pricey, but worth it. Use it everyday to help transport my mother -. but instead, I wear the belt and she securely holds on to one of the handles as she is strong enough in her shoulders and knees to have me pull her up from a couch or chair as she grabs onto the handles. She currently has a fractured upper arm (humerus) and I walk very slowly at her pace. while she follows directly behind me with her arm holding one of the sturdy hard-rubber handles. If she was unable to walk normally, I would put the belt on her and use it solely to lift her out of vehicles and chairs. During first week of the fracture, I had belt on her and lifted her from chairs The extra wide velcro belt under the clasp belt adds extra firmness to the belts fit around your waist.

The Best
This product is for people who would rather pay more for a professional device than taking a chance of falling, using an inferior product and having to call 911 to get assistance in getting up off of the floor. I have ALS and am weak-legged and have a balance problem. My wife can't lift me off of the floor by herself. I need to make it as easy as I can for her to move me. The handles on this belt are HD, secure and positioned in the right places. This belt is expensive but it is the best tool for the job.

It works, didn’t hurt Dad
Dad has Alzheimer’s and we are caring for him at home. My brother used this in the middle of the night when Dad couldn’t get up off the toilet. He said it worked great, he didn’t have to worry about hurting Dad while lifting him.

Not good for home use for elderly
Not good for home use for elderly. Better for some sort of heavy duty construction related use. Handles are too heavy and bulky for sitting or laying down and the on off is too complicated for one person putting it on another while trying to keep the other upright.

Worth the $
100% worth the money. Sturdy, easy to use, bought for use with a post-stroke relative. Changed getting to bedside toilet from precarious for all involved to a safe transfer.

Great belt!
This belt works great! My father-in-law has gotten quite weak and it's an amazing help to have this belt to help support him when moving/transferring/walking. A bit pricey but worth it. Highly recommend.

Fundamentally a well designed piece of equipment. Unfortunately my patient only has one usable arm to grasp belt with & lacked confidence in our ability to utilize it correctly. So back to gait belt.
