Don't be tempted by the price, because your money will be wasted. I'm a long-time user of facial blotting papers, and these are the most ineffective ones I've ever used. The material these are made of isn’t absorbent, or maybe it's the finish on the paper. I would use two or three sequentially, without satisfactory results. The five star reviews here truly mystify me, and I can only guess maybe those reviewers have never used blotting papers before. I'm now using a bamboo charcoal brand you can also find on amazon. They're extremely effective, and only one sheet needed.

This product was the best value I could find, which is the primary reason why I chose this specific brand. I've used these when my face was just starting to feel oily/greasy, and when I felt that I was wiping moisture away with my bare hands. These sheets barely did anything, even after times when using over 10 sheets on my whole face. You can hardly tell that the sheets absorb any oil, maybe minimal at best. You can feel a subtle difference on your skin after use, but it's no better than just using a basic facial tissue. I didn't find they worked on my cheeks or temples, they barely worked on my chin and nose, though worked the most on my forehead. Only real positive I can say is that the packaging is great, it's slim enough to keep in a purse or even your back pocket.Disclaimer: These are the first blotting sheets I've ever tried, so my expectations could be unrealistically high.

I bought four packs of these blotting papers. Compared to other brands offered on Amazon they are a great deal price wise. I have been using different kinds of blotting papers for my face for around 15 years. My forehead and nose tend to get a bit oily and shiny through out the day and I like to use them to remove the excess oil and shine. Like all other blotting papers I have tried they are very easy to use; just have to swipe them across your skin. They work well but I found I have to use three or four sheets at one time to absorb all the oil. I think it may be the material these are made of. It reminds me of very thin wax paper. I prefer other brands that feel just like tissue paper because I only have to use one at a time or rarely two if I'm extra greasy. Although I liked the price of these compared to others I don't think I will buy them again. I think I will stick to one that gets the job done with one sheet.

I give this four stars because the blotting papers work great but the packaging is garbage. I have a fairly oily face and usually use two blotting papers to mop up the mess. These papers are heavenly. The packaging it’s in...not so much. The packaging is barely any thicker than the blotting papers itself and does not stay closed. Might find a card holder or something similar to keep these in to avoid spillage in my purse.

Mrs. G. here. How can anyone live without oil blotting paper? So inexpensive, and provides a handy and quick facial freshen-up. This isn't just for women---men's faces (and bald heads) get shiny, too. Blot that oil.

Don't buy this. The paper does not absorb as much oil as the Palladio Rice Papers. These are cheaper but you get what you pay for. The packaging is also crummy and does not store the sheets nicely and is bulky. If you wear a thin layer of makeup like I do don't use these, I apply just enough foundation so it looks natural; these blotting sheets remove the makeup and still leaves my face shiny. For the price this is amazing and does its job. It might be just me and my clumsy self/oily self but it takes me 3 or more sheets for my face because the papers are really thin and it keeps ripping on me and it takes two swipes for the same area because its not as absorbant as I hoped or I'm super oily like a fish 🐟 luckily there are a lot of sheets so no problem! I like that it doesnt take of any of my makeup which is a nig plus for me! It doesnt dry out my skin as well. Will buy more down the road.
