Great lunch plates!
A couple years ago I started reading about the dangers of plastics in our bodies and really wanted to go as plastic free I could in my house. My husband and I bought these for our kids (he and I use ceramic, but the kids eat a million times a day and we just don’t have that big a set haha), and we all love them! We love them so much we ended up buying another set to have 12 (again, they eat a million times a day). They are definitely on the medium side of plates, so they would be small for an adult dinner. But they fit our breakfast, lunch and kid dinners just right. We have had our set for about 2-3 years now, and they show no signs of wear, and trust me - we use them all every single day, and I machine wash them every night. They nest together really tightly, and are very light, and are fantastic for camping. The one minor annoyance is they do spin when they’re on the table. So my kids do that lol. Not a huge deal for me, but just a heads up.The cost on these is great, especially considering their longevity, and I highly suggest them!

Great for so many uses
I have to admit that I have purchased this set 4 times so far from HaWare. I like dishes and bought the first set for myself for camping. I figured the plates would be unbreakable, stack easily and nest (instead of clanging around in transit), and since they’re metal, would not harbor bacteria. I was right. They’re great for travel and camping. What I didn’t realize is they’re fun for everyday use, as well. I quickly discovered that I had to share with my family. My spouse loves to use a metal plate to reheat leftovers in our Breville toaster oven. Yeah, the plate is hot but we just use a hot pad to grab and remove the plate from the oven and then keep the hotpad under the plate at the dinner table. It’s so nice to have one less dish to wash and also just really nice to bake some things instead of microwaving (hamburgers, lasagne, pie). These plates must not be used in the microwave, of course. My spouse also likes the slightly smaller size for portion control. Spouse also likes the grey look of stainless steel. We have seen some discoloration from acidic foods and such, but it’s like other stainless—wash it a few times and it’s better. We typically hand wash but have used the dishwasher and they do fine. If you’re looking for something that will forever look pristine, steel is not your best option. It is going to get cut marks from kitchen knives and over-exuberant kiddos learning how to cut, or any number of things. But it won’t break. Also discovered that grey is in and the recent grads really like these for their kitchens. So these have been a well received housewarming type of gift for first apartments, for example. These plates are pretty forgiving of being left on the counter for too many days. They soak well. They can be placed in Dishwasher. They are not porous so bacteria don’t get into them. Kind of great for those just starting out on their own.I’d also say these are good for grandkids (unbreakable) and guests—you can even spin them on their side (kind of like a top) as an ice breaker or party game. Yeah, we have fun with these.I bought my first set well before COVID so been using these for awhile now and I can’t tell which are the oldest ones and which are the newer ones. I like not having to worry about these breaking or getting messed up. And I like their look. The size is smaller than the huge dinner plates in a typical wedding registry but larger than dessert plates.Pros: unbreakable, use in toaster oven (your results may vary; we use on Reheat setting for a few minutes in Breville), dishwasher safe, non-porous, fun and looks goodCons: none for us, but others should know these are small, not microwave safe, and they do conduct heat so if you put hot food on the plate, need to use a hot pad or towel before asking your kid to hold the plate or else they could get burned.I have not had a problem with the rolled edges holding water, but we do air dry the dishes before placing back in stack.

Love these!
Love these plates - perfect for babies and toddlers. Obviously much less toxic than using plastic, and also less toxic than silicon. Non breakable so toddler can throw it on the floor and won’t shatter. I throw them in the dishwasher too, really great non toxic plates!

Great for what we need!
These are great for what we need - an alternative to silicone for our toddler who is not yet ready for breakable plates! Like others have said, some of ours have some discoloration from the dishwasher but this isn’t a huge deal for us and doesn’t impact quality. With that said, we will likely still purchase the bowls from the brand.

They stack so well!
These plates are great- low profile stacking, easy to clean, and don't taste like plastic. Obviously you can't microwave on them, but we found it better to have non-breakable plates. They take up so much less space than our older kids plastic plates!
