I ordered this tub stopper for my old bathtub, and it fits perfectly! The drain stopper came out, and this one works great. I bought this for our bathtub as the plug that came with the tub finally broke and was no longer unusable. I searched around Amazon and Walmart for a stopper until I ran across the OXO brand in the line-up. I immediately bought it, and as expected, it works great. Simple placement, stays put, doesn't leak, easy to remove, and the little suction cup on the bottom flap lets you stick it to the wall out of the way until the next time you need it. The material and manufacturing are top of the line, and well worth the little extra cost over the others. This is about the seventh or eighth item that I've purchased from the OXO company, and I have been highly impressed with each and everything they make. Everything is well designed and made with only high-quality materials. I not only recommend this drain stopper, but I fully recommend the OXO company of products as well.

I really enjoy this tub stopper! I was hesitant due t the price vs. a traditional style one, but have enjoyed other OXO products and felt it was worth a try. I wish I would have done it sooner. It easy suctions to the bottom with any water to create a nice grip. It has a hard surface in the center round to cover the drain and it basically extends the floor of the tub as I can shift around and nothing accidentally comes dislodged by a foot or my shifting. The suction cup means I can just put a finger under to pull it from the bottom of the tub and allow the water to drain and then I also suction cup it to the wall above the drain to both drip dry and hang for use out of sight unless I am in my tub. I also wish I would have had this when my kids were younger as it would not have been as easy for small prying fingers to just "grab" and keep draining the water over and over again since it lays so flat to the bottom of the tub.Activities have included things like shaving and washing myself after barn work and it does not hold small hairs, hay, or misc. debris and easily is rinsed under water to look good as new.

I'm usually a fan of OXO, but this tub stopper doesn't quite deliver like I'd hoped.This tub stopper is big. Bigger than I expected. And that's a good thing. Its size allows a wider surface for it to create a seal with and makes the whole thing seem less protruding when in the tub. The silicone material it is made from seems high quality, being flexible, durable, and soft. Like most OXO products, it feels like it is well-made. In terms of actually stopping the tub, it does a pretty good job. Left alone, it seems to create a seal easily regardless of water temperature, soap residue, etc.Unfortunately, tub stoppers are not just left alone. People (and pets) move around in a tub and the stopper is going to get bumped. When that happens, this tub stopper doesn't always stay in place. With tub stoppers you would rather a seal that is too strong than too weak, and sadly, this stopper creates a fairly weak seal. Getting it back into place is admittedly very easy, but having to reposition it every time you (or a pet you're bathing) move is frustrating. Another minor annoyance is that the suction cup doesn't actually work very well at storing the device on a wall or other surface when not in use. This really wasn't an issue for me, but it is something to be aware of.Overall this product is a rare miss for OXO. While it does its main job well, the little frustrations add up and you might be better off looking elsewhere for a tub stopper.
