Great looking, sturdy, amazing value!
Very strange that the first one I received looked like all factory packaging and was never opened, but when I pulled out the pads to assemble (out of the factory sealed wrapper), they were caked in mud and had what appeared to be knife looking cuts in the material. Obviously this part was returned to the factory, repackaged into my kit, and sold as new- the rest of the parts looked factory new. Returned. Amazon sent replacement fast. No issues with new box, again looks like came just from the factory, same sealed packaging, no mud this time. Assembly took half an hour, the included instructions were easy to follow, and extra hardware is included that is not used as other reviews have written. The only shady part was which of the three holes to use in the one step where you marry the two halves of the seat (there are 3). I went with the farthest one forward- I assume it may have to due with your size if you perhaps are larger and need more of a gap between the knee pad and the seat pad? I am a larger guy, 6"1 200+ pounds, and this setting seemed to work just fine for me. Chair seems sturdy and well built- not many parts to it at all. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cover material, its not leather, but it is soft, not stiff, feels quality. The pad firmness is just right for my taste. After adjusting the height with the screw turn adjuster, I can manage to sit in this for a few hours at a time- until my back muscles build up I am sure. I purchased due to sitting in front of the computer 12+ hours a day working from home- found my favorite wooden chair was actually cutting of the circulation to my legs I would sit in it for so long until my feet were getting numb. This chair changes that posture completely and shifts the weight of how you sit differently. I actually had a wooden version of this kind of chair many years ago that I loved and was surprised to see them now over $300 for that same chair. This chair does the same thing, looks great, and way better value. Will end up purchasing an additional one for the living room computer desk I like it so much.

I'd recommend it
As others have said, it's a bit rough on the knees/shins, but your weight is placed there in this chair, so it's to be expected. I put some padding down and it helps. Memory foam would probably help even more. It does assist in putting your back in a nice aligned position. And feels good in the process. It's not a chair you will stay in for hours, but the amount of time you DO, will be of benefit. The main negative, as otheres have described, are the wheels. They're real cheap and don't easily move. If they changed the wheels to casters or something better, this would definitely be a product worth buying. As it is - for the price - buy it. It just may help your back. And that's what it's all about, right?

Good quality and comfort! Looks nice and works well
I really like this chair. Assembly was easy enough, about 20 minutes, and the adjustment is simple (I went with non-hydraulic so it is just a screw mechanism, very easy to adjust). The pads are very comfortable and squishy yet supportive. The first day or two I used it, I had a hard time finding the right position. But I found the sweet spot for the level and realized that it is CRUCIAL to keep the balls/toes of your feet on the floor. Otherwise it puts way too much pressure on the knees and shins and is quite painful. That being said, keeping your knees far apart and toes on the floor underneath your glutes takes tension off the knees and puts it back under the hips/glutes. You can slide your legs further to rest more on your shins, and alternate as one starts to get a bit sore. Only lasts a day or two though.Pros:-Great for posture-Easier on the hip flexors than regular chair (hips are open further than 90 degrees instead of less than!)-SO easy to get in and out of, no more pushing out a chair every two seconds at my table/desk. I just flip my leg over the top and sit my butt down, I don't even move the chair much.-Wheels slide really nicely on the hardwood floor-Cushions are comfortable yet supportive.Cons:-Takes a day or two to get used to the pressure on knees and shins-Gotta stay mindful of that posture (but isn't that the point?)-Can't sit differently if you start to get tired (but I just use a different chair for a bit if needed)Honestly this is a GREAT chair and has been so helpful on my lower back. I was having a lot of back pain from sitting so much and had to stop using an exercise ball for reasons. A few days with this chair and my back no longer hurts. The knee/shin pain is very short lived and goes away once you find the right position! Not to mention the extra workout you are getting in your abs, glutes, and quads! You'll feel it for a day or two but then it's gone.

Poorly built - broke within a month! Causes knee pain if you sit for long hours!
I bought this chair to replace my office chair that I work in for long hours throughout the week. It doesn't work as a replacement to a normal office chair because it's not comfortable to sit in for long periods. However, it does work as a supplement to an office chair to allow you to switch up your sitting positions throughout the day. BUT, that does mean that you have to have an extra chair just sitting around taking up space in your office which can be annoying.KNEE PAIN - after about a month of use, I started to get some knee pain. I looked it up and this is not uncommon in this type of chair. BE CAREFUL - don't sit in this chair for too long!MY BIGGEST ISSUE - is the build quality. The metal foot where the wheel attaches is welded rather poorly to the chair. There are only two small weld points on either side of the circular feet leaving most of the foot completely unattached. After a month of use, one of the weld points failed causing the foot to bend about 45 degrees under my weight (shown in the picture). I'm not particularly heavy either so this really shouldn't be happening at all - much less after a month.COMPLETELY USELESS - WASTE OF MONEY - STRAIGHT IN THE GARBAGE!
