Siamod NOVEMBRE Leather Vertical Detachable 13 Laptop Briefcase Wheeled Red

I purchased the McKlein LaGrange (155); Siamod Novembre (175) and Siamod Pastenello (225) from Amazon as the fulfiller.I needed a vertical laptop bag with wheels to use when flying for business. I wanted something to fit under the seat. (An aside: I also recommend the Zo&Co Travel Tote. It slips on the pocket of the airline seat so all your stuff is at arms reach and then folds up into thirds to slip in your bag. Love it!)Here are my observations:-These are all the same manufacturer. The sizing is very similar, if not identical - the differences are in styling and leather.-The telescoping handles on all 3 are identical, even though some of the photos for the Siamond bags show the button on the top- it's NOT, all three have the button awkwardly placed in the handle (annoying, but not a deal breaker).-The insides are all the same, even the same fabric, however, there is an additional pocket (open top, attached to the padded middle zipper section) on the PASTENELLO that is NOT on the other two. **Alert: this Pocket is NOT for your laptop - I saw some reviews saying it was too small for your laptop. Your laptop goes in the bag, not the pocket. I place my laptop in the section closest to the handle- that way the bag doesn't tip and it has extra protection by being near the back of the wheeled section.-These are the equivalent of a standard laptop bag as far as sizing and capacity, although it is deeper.. about twice as thick as my HP laptop bag.. (I can fit two laptops in these without issue) They are not as large (capacity) as a traditional briefcase. If you are looking for a laptop bag, I think you will be pleased. If you are looking for something that holds more like a briefcase, you will likely think these do not have enough room.-These come with two FOBs - one contains the keys for the outside pocket stuffed inside.-McKlein LaGrange: cheapest option. I like the styling best. VERY stiff leather, difficult to get things in and out of.-Siamod Novembre: Compromise $ between the other two. Least favorite style.. Softer than the LaGrange, but still stiff. Not a huge fan of the Croc look.-Siamod Pastenello: Most expensive. Styling more casual than LaGrange, but much better in person than online IMO. Soft leather; no contest between the other two. Easy to get into the bag. I wish they had the McKlein Style in this leather.Winner: Siamod Pastenello. Despite the heftier pricetag, the softer leather allowing easier access to the bag is worth it.

This bag is working out perfectly for my wife in her new job. She never removes it from the wheels as it takes a couple minutes to convert over and isn't really hard to shoulder carry with the wheels.Hint: Remove the rain cover from the cart and store it in the bag rather than where the company hides it.She wanted the red one, but I talked her into black and she is glad I did. The Red/Black combo tries to look stylish, but comes off too industrial in real life. The red bag by itself would be terrific, but not paired with the black rolling cart. Interior size is adequate as expected. Anything roomier would look like every other generic rolling case. This vertical bag stands out from the crowd, but remains professional. I thought the patent leather would be gaudy, but it's subdued by the patterns. Be a good husband and purchase this.

This bag is clearly meeting my expectations. It is attractive and sturdy. I am very pleased with the how it looks and have received compliments from several people already.Prior reviews had indicated that it was a little small, but I took the risk as I didn't want a large and bulky bag. In fact, I am attempting to go paperless and wanted a bag that forced me to leave paper behind. This bag does that. That being said, I have to carry two laptops (as I am a consultant), as well as two power cords. So, its large enough to accomplish that feat.The fact that it detaches from the wheeled base is not a feature that is valuable to me. However, it does not detract from the bag. I just presume that the bag could have cost a little less to manufacture without that feature, which could have reduced the cost a little. However, the wheels or handle is generally the first thing to go on any bag I purchase, so I suspect I will be happy that the attractive bag detaches when that eventuality comes to pass. [Not that I expect that to happen soon, as the wheels and handle seem pretty sturdy.]

I just submitted a return of this item. Online it appears to be adequately spacious and of good quality. In person, it is quite the opposite. The item is incredibly bulky with the majority of the bulk attributed to the roller. There is limited space inside to store items. The zips to detach it from the roller stop short and hang out. This makes it appear cheap. Additionally, the leather is not as nice as the image makes it appear. Overall, I'm super disappointed with this purchase. To add insult to injury, I have to pay $15 to return it. Bum deal.

Excellent bag, fits down airplane aisle easily, won't fit under aisle seat, but will fit under middle seat. Getting lots of compliments on this bag and only had it two weeks. It will hold everything I need, have plenty of room because the laptop is stored on the outside pocket. However a little concerned that when the bag tips over the first thing to hit the ground is the laptop, but seems protected. I would recommend this bag to every female that is tired of carrying a traditional black laptop/rolling bag, this is a step up in style, very professional looking.

I was very disappointed in this bag. It is beautiful and I really love the look, but that's as far as it went. I knew the bag was big when I ordered it, but beware, the bage is big because of its capability to detach. The inside space is NOT very big. All I carry is a 15" laptop, an iPad (v) a small spiral notebook and the associated cables. It was a very tight fit. Unfortunately, I had to send it back.

Excellent workman ship. Great space for tablet in either one of the outside pockets. Inside compartment is roomy. Looks beautiful. The bag detaches easily from the rolling base, yet attaches securely.Rolling movement is smooth. Come with a storage bag, plus an excellent rain cover which protects the bag and it folds up and is stored neatly at the bottom between the wheelbase and the bag. Quite impressive engineering overall. I love it. Worth the money.
