Beautiful kit, however, a few of the pieces for the music roof didn't fit well together, so it's not as clean of a look as I like. Also, the royal chair didn't line up in the right spot with the rug...so the rug is off sides - along with the stairs. The fabric is very tiny and a little messy when making the pillows. Overall...I rate this kit an 8. I do like the overall concept and the lighting makes it so fun to look at, when they are turned on.

Pretty fun kit. The cardboard roof I had to color with marker since the ends were not black but cardboard color but otherwise it was pretty good.

We were missing one of the bottom stair pieces G12 and one of the windows E15 were broken and not during shipping as the broken piece was not in the labeled package. Also on the instructions which I downloaded the American version said that the tools included were white glue and an alcohol gel which were not included. I have bought several different types of glue to put this project together for my autistic son who loves everything about Japan. It’s not coming out quite the way I thought it would but for him it’s working. I would just like to see them being more careful about broken pieces and missing pieces and things that should’ve been in the package. We are hoping to order more he has his eye on the noodle shop and the tea shop but I’m a little leery.

I have assembled a similar kit before so I was familiar with the type of instructions and expected to see the many bags of tiny pieces. This takes a while to make and can be a challenge, but the resulting mini looks like it will be really great. I take my time and work on one small bit at a time, but I wouldn't like to try to do it in one big gulp. The kit shipped very fast from Amazon and the English instruction book downloaded as advertised.

This is something my mother requested for Christmas and Im unsatisfied that the box it comes in itself (not the amazon box) was damaged and the items inside falling out. Everything seems to be there, delivery was good aside from that.

I wasn't happy that I had to download the manual which I believe was 15-20 pages, so I didn't. I'm using the video but I haven't gotten far with the project. Don't know if I will really need the manual yet.

The instruction book included is in Chinese. You have to download English version on website. But it's not clear. The letters are too small and blurry when enlarged. Very inconvenient. I like the product but missing the glue!!!

I am pretty far along with this project and very satisfied with the purchase overall. Of course as noted by others the English instructions are not included but can be downloaded very easily I had no great difficulty followed the visuals in the foreign language booklet but did watch the video and it was most helpful. I was pleased to find mostly all the material used was wood, would have been a nicer touch if the roof material was plastic and not cardboard but giving the roof panels a coat of lamp black took care of any imperfections. Like the kit and will check their other products. Will include some photos when project is finished. Good company with a fine product, fast shipping and packaging was fine.
