This is the best organic green powder that I've used. I've been drinking it for almost two weeks now and I have high praise for it. I used to drink Amazing Grass's lemon lime energy powder mix, but I decided to try this one after sampling it at a local health food store. I've always been a big fan of Garden of Life with their USDA-Certified Organic and Non-GMO Verified certifications. The company always starts and ends with whole food in its supplements and I love their commitment to whole food ingredients. This is much better than Amazing Grass's product because Garden of Life uses superior ingredients for antioxidant support, detoxification, and -- above all -- energy. What separates this product from the rest is that the greens are juiced and cold-temperature dried immediately at the farm within an hour after harvesting. This preserves all of the nutrients and makes the greens fresher than in other products. The company also has an excellent fruit and vegetable blend like organic parsley, organic alma berry, organic beet root, organic strawberries, etc. And there is an energy blend that uses fresh ingredients like organic pomegranate, organic Yerba Maté extract, and organic maca root, too. The company also adds 30mcg of Vitamin B12 in the active form. All of these nutrients combine to deliver smooth and clean energy, while also delivering probiotics, enzymes, antioxidant support, and the great benefits of greens like organic barley grass, organic wheat grass, and more. Once again, everything is certified organic and Non-GMO verified. As far as taste is concerned, the flavor is pretty good. Although I mix mine with water, it can mixed with equal parts water and apple juice or other juices, too. But, for me, it tastes fine on its own. I have been purchasing perfect food energizer twice a month for over two years. At this point, I should have some kind of frequent buyer discount (GOL, you should offer this!). But I keep coming back because absolutely nothing works like this product! This is an outstanding tub of greens, arguably the best out there. The profile is great and the antioxidant power of this product is off the charts. The taste is pretty strong but if I put some water in my mouth and put a heaping teaspoon (not TOO heaping) on top of the water I find that I can swallow it with only a small minority of it ever touching my tongue so it's not like it's all that hard to get down. Over time, I've adapted, and now I actually ENJOY the flavor. It tastes great with stevia and diluted in 16oz of water. There are a million benefits with this product, so I'll try to be brief. The main difference between Garden of Life and other manufacturers, is that GOL's greens are JUICED and THEN dehydrated. Every other greens product I searched was simply dehydrated grasses. That's great, but the nutritional profile of this product is 100x stronger! Because they are extracting the most nutrients out of the plants before they dehydrate, you're taking the most potent dose imaginable. Each serving is like 50 servings of homemade green juice. I'm truly in love with this... and though it costs a pretty penny, I'll keep drinking it twice a day for the rest of my life.

I had to admit that I was skeptical of "green drinks" as I have tasted plenty that seem like someone handed you grass clippings to drink. But I real a full page ad in my health food magazine that I get and it went on to describe all the great benefits of Maca ~ hormone balancing, supporting bone health, immune system health, thyroid and pituitary health, healthy blood, a healthy memory, promoting deep sleep and several others. WOW - was I impressed, my OJ still tastes like OJ and I run all day with TONS more energy than I've ever had, alert and *for me* suppresses my appetite. Yes, I still eat, but don't walk around ravenous to eat 24-7 and when I do eat it doesn't take as much to fill me up. Very Very pleased with this stuff and have already reordered. I eat a grapefruit when I first get up, drink this right before I head out to work and don't think about food till lunch time.

I use this powerfood mixed into some diluted juice or smoothie it gives me a great boost of energy. I cant use it too late in the day unless I am ok to be up late as the energy I get from this keeps me up! Tastes pretty good it may take some getting used to if someone has never had any green powder superfood before but this one especially I find tastes bettwr than other ones I've previously tried.

The pomegranate flavor is not palatable for me. Not looking forward to drinking this on a daily basis. I’m sure it’s healthy and gives the energy it claims to, but I have enjoyed the flavor of other brands of greens powder WAY more in comparison to this brand. Yuck! I mixed one scoop with 8oz of water as directed…I will try adding it to juice or a smoothie next time to see if that helps. That being said, if I see positive results from drinking this product I would try the lemon and ginger flavor. We’ll see if I can get this flavor down for an entire month though lol!
