HWK Motorcycle Jacket Men's Riding Textile Racing Motorbike Hi-Vis Biker CE Armored Water Resistant Jackets

I'm 5'9", 204 lbs with a 32 inch waste - yes, you read it right. This is my first armored jacket. In fact it's my first proper motorcycle jacket - so I don't know much about them. There are two things I do know about: fashion and quality. Regarding the fashion, the pictures speak for themselves. The jacket looks good and feels good. It screams quality from the way it looks and the way it is put together. I've read many reviews from HWK's older Amazon offerings. HWK clearly takes customer feedback seriously because most issues have been rectified. Including the zipper being on the wrong side. That would have bugged the sh*t out of me.Is this a four season jacket? Maybe in some cities. In Houston, we only have two seasons. For five to six months, it's in the 90s with 90% humidity. We call it the Double-Nines. Actually, nobody calls it that, but I might get it started. It's in the 50s now and the jacket is warm - it feels real good. Even with the lining removed, this jacket won't be able to compete with the Houston heat. If I wore this jacket in the summer, I'd look like Whitney Houston in concert. So, hopefully HWK updates their summer mesh jacket before the weather turns because I am now a fan. Shorts and sunglasses sold separately.

If you want a “cold” weather jacket this is not the one. Road 136 miles yesterday with temps 29-45. Used my bullet proof jacket I’ve had for 15 years. This came today 46 out road it 8 miles. No way for cold. It will be good for summer riding or temps over 50. I will ride dirt trails tomorrow and test it at 45 out. It feels good, has protection and should be ok for that. But anyone who posted it for cold weather riding has no clue! I live in snow country at 6800 ft! I ride under 30 all the time!Update. I did ride 69 miles the next day. Was under 30 at start and 46 upon return. 20 mile to dirt trails 20 back, the balance riding trails. Took the liner out of my Fieldsheer jacket and wore it under this new jacket. This now made the HWK jacket cold proof. Once in dirt took out the liner and wore the jacket. Temps 38-50. Since I was dirt riding mud, snow etc. 1-3 gears the jacket was perfect! Once done replaced liner dove home. This will be a great riding jacket but and a addition liner jacket is required for cold riding. The front zipper dose not stop wind chill with out one.With out addition liner jacket riding temps must be 50 or higher! HWK should have an optional liner jacket for this model!

I'm so glad I found this jacket. I'm a big guy and the 5x fits great. The jacket quality is good, black and reflective green looks great. It has a removable liner for riding in the colder weather, and appears it will still be waterproof with the liner out. It has multiple zipped air vents to help keep cool. Never had a protective type jacket before, so not sure how the included armor holds up or compares to other jackets. But for riding in any weather, and being seen, this is a great choice.

6' 250lbs. Lots of wiggle room with the XXL. The XXL pants not as much wiggle room for use as overpants. I bought the set (jacket/pants). The zipper to attach jacket to the pants is a nice feature. Will still need Hold Up Company biker suspenders for when I'm wearing an armored flannel shirt. The pants tends to slide down. Jacket worked in 70mph 40 degree F conditions. Will add base layer for CA BDR in December and that should work out fine. Might even be too warm if forecast of 60 degree F highs 30 degree F lows is acccurate. No plans to ride in 30 degree F. Would need to add fleece layer for that. Winter gloves with nitril medical gloves in case hands get wet or cold. Happy with purchase. Fantastic price. Hard to believe this quality at this price. Would like to see HWK make Kevlar clothing and compete with KLIM.

This Jacket checked all the boxes. It was sized right, it has zippable hidden air vents, hard foam armor in the right spots, Zip detatchable inner liner. Lots of straps and buttons to handle any custom need. Zippable outter pockets with waterproofing, interior pocket accessable with or without liner. For the money this is an excellent Textile Jacket that appears to be lightweight, yet potentially warm or cool, lined or unlined, vented or unvented.

Not sure how safe it is until I fall in it, but it feels good enough for a simple slide under 45mph. I'm judging this on the stitching and materials used. The only CE certification is for the pads. At this price point I think it's a good buy for short slow rides like the ones I'm doing. It looks good though.

It was packed very nice, came in a zip up bag just like a comforter would come, the jacket is well built. It feels heavy and strong. The liner is removable. That allows the air flow through the air vents. During the warm weather I recommend to remove the liner so your not so hot. Then colder season use the liner in to keep warmer. Over all the jacket is nice lots of reflective logos. Has straps to tight down around arms and waist. Has a cellphone pocket inside and and other pockets to store some protective iron if you know what I mean.

This is a high quality jacket. The zippers are smooth, plenty of pockets, the air vents are nice but not much help in Alabama summers. The body armor seems ample but i hope never to need it. The size it good. Plenty of room. I like the tabs and velcro for fitting the jacket to my size and blocking out the wind when needed. I bought the high/vis with black. Good look with good reflectors. I like to be seen!!

Honnêtement je suis agréablement surpris de la qualité du manteau et je suis rendu à 4 et 5 sortie avec à des températures relativement froide et à la pluie.

Muy buen producto a un super precio. Me Sorprendió.Pedí la color plata, que aunque en la foto se ve blanca es más bien como color arena. Queda bien, no es muy pesada y para invierno está perfecta ya que es muy caliente. Para ésta temporada le quite la parte térmica y listo. Además me agradó que trae varias bolsas.Le doy un 10 en relación a calidad-precio.

Very disappointed!!! Bought this because reviews are very good for this jacket. The minute I put it on it felt very nice the sizing was perfect for me than tried to zipped and the end of the zipper just fall in the ground, so I have a brand new jacket and can’t use it.

Great jacket for the price. Super warm, seems to be water resistant with the liner. Great features for the price. The sizing chart is pretty accurate only problem if you're heavy set in the shoulders and chest area, the jacket is not really tapered below so it's a little large but does have adjustable velcro straps. Wind vents work well for ventilation. I got rid of the shoulder pads, too small for me, had flash backs of the 80s and the whole shoulder pad thing lol. Kept the forearm and back pads
