BBK 3503 Twin 61mm Throttle Body - High Flow Power Plus Series For Ford F Series Truck And SUV 302, 351

I bought this throttle body because mine had a vacuum leak at the linkage lever, and this was litteraly the only throttle body I could find. I was very hesitant to order at first due to reading the comments about it being damaged by lack of package insulation. Well I was right to be the package I received was an Amazon box with a smaller bbk box inside, however instead of bubble wrap or something that would actually absorb impact from a drop they used paper. When I opened the bbk box my initial reaction was pure frustration.... The extra vacuum ports that I have capped on my truck were bent from shipping. The install went okay it comes with new mounting hardware that have Allen key heads due to this throttle body being 61mm instead of 55mm you can’t reuse the original hardware so be prepared. The coolant ports are also a little shorter than the original, I had to run to the parts store and get a foot of bulk 3/8th hose for the bottom port the top one was fine. So far it runs good with no leaks no during idle like I had before, I have yet to drive it since I need to reset my tps sensor but I will update if anything happens. Is it worth 400$ probably not but it was the only available replacement.

Check all parts and assembly when you receive. The throttle linkage was missing the bearing. After reaching out to the company it was easier to manufacture my own. Over all once installed it works fine, but very little horsepower difference.

It fit fairly well, I had to get new 3/8 inch coolant line and run across the throttle body too the other port, , thisthrottle body will not work with cruise control.

I have had this part for a few months. I finally decided to install it, so I pulled off the old one. removed the throttle position sensor, and the the air bypass valve. I bought a new throttle position sensor, but no new screws, ether with the sensor or the the throttle intake. so use the old ones. then I when to install the old air valve, no new gasket in the intake kit. so I had to make a trip to the auto parts. Then I went to seal the 2 extra vacuum ports, they sent caps, but they only sent the larger size, way to big , so another trip to the auto parts. so I now am ready to install it, and the bolts they sent, only go through the body to the manifold, a 1/4 inch. The old bolts went though 5/8 of an inch. so now to a special fastener store do to I need allen style heads. again, I go to install the throttle body, now the coolant nipple, lower one hits the alternator. so now I don't know what to do. The nipple needs to be turned and bent up. so now another obstacle, I will have to see what the company is going to do. I will update when i have something new to add.

Big improvement over stock!

Looked great when I opened it. Booked right on. Started engine and the water port inlet came out and antifreeze ran everywhere.. Small hammer, some black gasket silicone, and 12hrs dry time it was fixed. It made absolutely no difference in HP and fuel economy.

Packaging was pretty bad. Barely any impact material around it. When i recieved it, it had several of the smaller vaccum tubes broke off from where they threw it around in shipping.The product its self works like a charm, but the packaging/shipping was terrible.
