Gem Avenue New Genuine Sheepskin Fur Leather Pelt Rug Black Color

Item was exactly as described - one piece hide. The color does not bleed. I bought this as a seat cover for my motorcycle. Both ends are the perfect shape to fit my seat as well as the width. I had to do absolutely no trimming. I punched holes in one end and I inserted grommets. Used shoe lace to tie to my sissy bar. I had an extra, so I put a black cargo net on the passenger end to fasten it to my rear fender. You can't see the net unless you feel for It with your hand. In foul weather I can use the net to roll the rug and store in my saddlebag. Buying this rug was way cheaper than spending $100+ on a "seat cover" designed specifically for motorcycles. It works great!

Item appears to be of decent quality, but is MUCH smaller than promised. Description states 2 ft x 3.5 ft (24" x 42"), but item delivered is 1.7 ft x 2.7 ft (20" x 32")—2" narrower and 10" shorter than promised. It's barely large enough to make two motorcycle seat covers, but why do I have to pay full price for an item that is significantly smaller than described? I understand that the size may vary from pelt to pelt, but 2" narrower and 10" shorter is pretty significant—over 1.5 SQUARE FEET smaller! I'm trying to decide if I should return it. I've contacted the seller and will post their response.UPDATE: I asked for a 35% discount. They said 20% off was the best they could do. I said no, that I wanted to return it for a full refund. The next email I got notified me I got a 35% discount. I've compared it to other sheepskins and this one is thinner, too. If you want this for a motorcycle seat pad there are better ones out there that are bigger, thicker, and for the same price.

Once I received the pelt it looked and felt soft. I am using this over my seat on a Harley Fatboy 2018. I placed it on my seat and it was long enough to go over both the front and back pillon seat. I do have a back rest so I cut a slit in the pelt and placed it on the front seat and trimmed the back that was left and the cat has a new rug to sleep on. Size is as advertised and very nice quality.

Bought this for my two grown cats to sleep on. It took them exactly 5 minutes after opening the box for them to take to it. I have had the pelt rug for two months now and they sleep on this all the time. Very soft and natural...UPDATE: 20 Oct 2014- Cats still love it...esp when it gets colder outside. In fact, my female cat sleeps on it so hard, she snores. She wakes me up due to her snoring and it makes me groggy in the AM. The pelt must remind her of her mother or something nice like that. She wakes up all refreshed and I am left struggling to make coffee. Great product...for her.

Use it on my leather recliner to prevent my skin from sticking. Works great and is quite comfortable.

Very nice quality for the price. Soft, thick and shiny pelt -- I purchased this, as I have other sheepskins in the past, to wrap around a hard wooden bench used for hobby work. The thick wool is perfect cushioning without fostering perspiration, and if needed, it shakes out and fluffs up easily. Warm in winter, cool in summer -- wool is simply the best, and this is the source material.

The skin was a little small but the service and product were excellent. On another subject I am very concerned about the theft of credit card theft. There has been news regarding the use and sale of information and I had it happen to me on a card I only use for online. As I think I saw your company was one of these companies that got hacked.

I purchased this for use as a seat cover for my Harley and was expecting less than what I received. Extremely good quality with the dimensions even larger than stated. Great company to deal with. I ordered the Black Pelt and received in just 2 days...a white pelt. White wouldn't look good on the Bike. I contacted the company and told them of the mistake and they said that I could keep the White and would ship out the Black Pelt. Now I have 2 pelts for the price of one. I highly recommend this company
