Very thorough telling the story of virtually all F-4 missions in the Yom Kippur War.My one criticism: Aloni is too in love with IAF terminology. Yes, he does provide a glossary of terms and acronyms but many he frequently uses are not included. .Otherwise, it is a Great inclusive reference.

Exactly what I was looking for! Great book with an almost a minute-by-minute narrative and loads of details on ilaf operations. Book print quality and binding is excellent and the photograps are just amazing and show lots of very interesting details. Reading it really improved my understanding of the air operations in that conflict.Hope there will be a book on the A-4 operations during the Yom Kippur War as well. Like "Shlomo Aloni;Combat Aircraft 81, Israeli A-4 Skyhawk units in combat; 2009; Osprey" but with the focus on the Yom Kippur War only and with the "detail depth" and "production values" of this book.
