You are buying 4 Coat Hooks Antique Handmade Railroad Spike Wrought Iron Style Vintage Rustic Made in USA The photos give an example of the variations and uniqueness of the railroad spike hooks. Please understand each item is made by hand and will be unique. There are slight variations in color and weathering because these are reclaimed railroad spikes, some are over a hundred years old. Each hook measures approx 6 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide and weights about 12 oz , 2 screws are included to mount each hook. Note : After forging bending and cooling the hooks are coated with 2 coatings of a metal sealer to seal the antique metal. The finish varies based on their age, some may be heavily weathered and slightly rusted. This will be sealed in the coating and gives each hook unique character. Blacksmithing in our family goes back 5 generations to the late 1800's . One of the photos is of Great-Great-Great Grandpa, his son and Grandson in front of his workshop at the turn of the 19th century.
