Jason Aluminum Free Deodorant Stick, Soothing Aloe Vera, 2.5 Oz

It's effective at controlling odor (for my body chemistry) and the tea tree oil is very effective at preventing funky bacteria and fungus from flourishing on skin in hot humid climates. I have very sensitive skin and I'm allergic to everything, but this does not irritate my skin or trigger my allergies. I also use the Jason Tea Tree Body wash for the same reasons.I'd like to give it 4 1/2 stars because, to me, both the tea tree deodorant and the tea tree body wash smell like gardenia. I wish their apricot or unscented deodorant included tea tree oil. I would also be ok with their tea tree products actually smelling like tea tree.But I'll give it 5 because it is as effective at controlling odor as antiperspirant, which is remarkable for a non-antiperspirant deodorant of any kind, let alone one that is aluminum free, paraben free, and non-irritating.

Works great. I have been using Jason's Deodorant for quite some time now. I love the results. I shower daily. This is not for those who shower only occasionally and want to cover up less than desirable odors. It also is not for those who don't want to perspire. This is a deodorant that does a beautiful job of covering normal levels of bacteria/odor.I wanted to get away from anti-antiperspirants that block the bodies natural mechanisms. Perspiring comes natural. From what I have read women's breast cancer is not tied to the use of deodorants but I wonder who conducted the studies? Perspiring is one of the bodies 5 organs of elimination; actually the largest one. Toxins that would normally be expelled are blocked.Anyhow Jason's Deodorant Aloe Vera does a nice job of leaving me with a fresh scent. I do not notice any odor problems throughout the day. If by chance I do not shower the next day, and find myself engaged in sweaty activities, or even super hot days sweating a lot that I need to take a shower.Bottom line; no rash, does a nice job, I just ordered 4 more deodorant sticks so I don't run out.

Works well without harsh chemicals

I’ve used the Jason apricot for years, never smell any BO. I bought this Aloe Vera because I couldn’t find the apricot. BIG Mistake. I smell BO. This is useless.

I used Speed Stick Fresh scented deodorant for years and love it for its scent and because it lasts all day, but it started making my underarms itch that became too annoying so needed to find something more natural and without propylene glycol, baking soda, or other things that can cause itching. Some out there looked good but are well over $10, which is more than I wanted to spend and found these Jason deodorants that are more reasonably priced. I’ve used other Jason products in the past and liked them a lot so thought I’d give it a try and glad I did because my itching is gone! The fragrance of this Aloe Vera formula isn’t too bad (smells a bit like sweet ointment) and don’t like it nearly as much as my old deodorant, but it’s fine and more than a fair trade off for no more itching. The other reason for four stars is that I find I need to reapply this during the day where I didn’t have to do that before, but I imagine that’s the case with many “natural” deodorants that avoid harsher chemicals but again it’s worth it for being more comfortable throughout the day. Some have remarked that this is overly wet or sticky but I don’t find it all that much different from my old deodorant and it’s fine for me. So overall I’m happy with this for its combination of using more natural, milder, less irritating ingredients and relatively lower price than many other alternatives.

I've been using this for about 15 years because my now ex was allergic to all fragrance. I like its clean light scent, and find it doesn't aggravate my current allergies to fragrances. BUT, does it last all day? Definitely not. I am not a heavy sweater, and I work from home so it's not a big deal, but if I need to meet with a client, I might have to reapply mid-afternoon. Still...no aluminum, and works for most of the day. I like it.
