What a fantastic read. Each Fake is truer than true, realer than real, and totally made up.If you love short, punchy, glued-to-your-seat writing --you need this book.So Good!

I found many of these to be amusing, but I was not sure exactly what others were fakes of. They are not all intended to be funny, though.It's kind of like the short films on ShortsTV, you're not real sure what is happening.

I've come across some of these in various creative writing texts. To have an entire anthology of imitations is a great resource. I can see me using them in class.

Great fun

This is a great book for anyone in interested in new ways of writing. The pieces are original, fantastic examples of craft, and there are some vg writers. Would be interesting to serious readers of contemporary fiction, and writing students.
