This is an awesome sand kit! My daughter absolutely loves playing with sand and this kit has everything you need for a starter. Nice little toys, details, molds, tools, and the best part, the sandbox! Everything has it's own resealable bag which is a huge plus! My daughter can't get enough of it. There's always a little mess to be expected with sand, but there's next to none. It doesn't leave any risidual feeling on your hands. The only issue I had at first was that the sand was crumbly and dry when first opened. I kneaded it like suggested but it stayed crumbly. I just ran my hands under the faucet and shook off the excess water and kneaded it with my damp hands and it was perfect! Highly recommend this activity!

I purchased this for my four year old son for Christmas. My kids enjoy play dough and we had one Kinetic Sand bag that we’d received for a birthday one time they hey often fought over. We have really enjoyed this kit. It came in a cardboard box that is well constructed with a handle and we have been able to carry it around for use without the box falling apart. It comes with everything shown and offers a lot of fun variations for play. My son loves to bury the dinosaurs and then excavate them using the hand tools. All my children from 4-10 years of age have enjoyed it. The sandbox allows it to remain mostly contained, but even when they get wild and I have sand all over under the table it easily clumps together (like kinetic sand) to make pick up less painful. I would recommend this product highly if your kids enjoy dinosaurs and play dough/sand.

Got this for my 7 year old niece and she loved it! The molds are suuuuper cool! You can build a miniature sand castle or create a dinosaur island. Or bury the dinosaurs in the sand. Or create sand dinosaurs with the molds and do a mr. potato head sort of thing and add the arms and eyes and hats it comes with! AND there’s something that contains it all together so there isn’t a huge mess! Cool gift. Hours of fun. The box it comes in looks pretty cheesy, but don’t worry, what’s inside is awesome.

Great little set up. Came with all you things. The box to play in is smaller than I thought.But make sure to get real Kinect sand. The sand it comes with is very crumbly. Although it works, Kinect sand is definitely easier to clean up and feels better to the touch!

Bought this to use on my Flisat table, it covers the bottom of the large trofast bin pretty well. There are a lot of pieces, it has given my daughters hours of fun, I do think we will need more send to fill the bins a little more.Cards and books on pictures are not part of the set but everything else is.

Outstanding toy. I just gave this to my 2-year-old daughter this evening and she has been playing with it non-stop for hours. I will be ordering another as a gift for my cousin’s son. The sand is of a slightly lower quality than Kinetic sand, but it does the job. The tiny dinosaur and castle molds are adorable.

Such a great deal, 3 lbs of sand, 3 colors and all the fun items to make sandcastles and dinosaur make believe. This was a dream gift fir our 8 year old and his 10 year old sister loves to join the fun.

I don't know why I didn't pay closer attention to the scaling of the pictures, but the toys and parts that are included in this play sand kit are very, very small.The size of the parts are comparable to the size of a toddlers palm, which is fine, because I did buy this for a pre-school aged child.The "sand box" unfolds and has a soft, flimsy bottom that would benefit from something more rigid like a piece of cardboard, or a sheet of rigid plastic to keep the sides from collapsing (and to provide a more sturdy surface for the sand and toys).The fake trees are very flimsy (worse than dollar store party-favor plastic), and the sand we received was brittle and cakey.We rehydrated the sand, and added a bottom to the sandbox. The kid played with the set for about an hour, and I was able to put it all away for later.I would say I paid about 7 bucks too much for this set. It was true to description for the most part, and the images were accurate, although I was not able to spot the level of scaling and quality based on those things.
