I bought these in child's size for my 8yr old who constantly leaves her laces done up and slips her trainers on and off, damaging the backs of the shoes - lazy! The idea seems great but actually using them is a little flawed. They were a nightmare to insert into the eyelets on a pair of Adidas, many of the ends simply snapped off whilst I was trying to force them through. A little insertion tool would be very handy - I ended up using a blunt pair of tweezers to try and widen the eyelets and then to prod the ends through, all in all it took me around 30-40 minutes to complete a pair. My daughter loved them. But after a few weeks of wearing we have noticed she has pressure areas on her feet where the ends of the laces are rubbing on her skin so we have now removed them and gone back to her original laces. On a plus point, the colour choices are fab, we had a pack of four each being different and if they had been more comfortable to wear they would have been a great way to change the appearance of a white pair of trainers.

These look cool and are effective if worn for short periods of time. However, when wearing my trainers at work for 8+ hours, after a couple of hours, the ends of each lace digs in really badly and has left me with really sore feet and even blisters. I've tried swapping around the lace sizes but it's the knobbly part that keeps the lace anchored within the hole that's digging in, not the tightness. Really bummed as they are great except for that!

As someone with severe back problems, lace up trainers had become too painful to wear, bending down to tie and re-tie laces was not worth the pain. This, until recently, hadn't bothered me much because there always seemed to be a good range of slip on or velcro trainers that could be treated as slip on shoes.Alas, fashion has moved a bit and slip on or velcro trainers were looking a bit dated. That is no longer a problem though, not with these absolutely brilliant silicone laces which allow any pair of lace up shoes to be turned into slip on shoes!I ordered an adult set first, but as a small woman of size five feet the adult size was far too loose. This was quickly remedied with a set of kids silicone laces which are the perfect fit. I would recommend a pair of needle nose pliers to make inserting them easier and I would also say that you should count the number of spaces for laces you have and judge whether you want to use the whole pack or skip the last or first silicone lace to get a more comfy fit with your ascending laces being tighter or looser.After working out which configuration worked best for me, (simple straight across, using the second smallest silicone lace as my first one) I was amazed to find that my lace up shoes are now slip-ons that are super comfy and I can slip my feet in with ease and no bending to tie laces, or retie laces when they inevitably came loose. A brilliant and simple invention that has allowed me to wear any trainers I like and the only problem has been the cost of my Nike Air buying sprees to put these on. I now have a comfy pair of slip on trainers for all occasions.

Slightly tight for my 8 year old who is a size 2 and unlike the others we’ve tried these really don’t have much give and he complained they were too tight even though we’d used the biggest in the pack. I feel there needs to be a small child size and a large child size as the adult would be far too big for him. I’ve rated 4 stars because if the fit is right, so for smaller children, then they’d be suitable.

I purchased these for my son and they are brilliant.The No Tie Shoelaces work exactly as described, they are a little stiff to get on / in to the shoes although this is a comfort as hopefully it means they will not come out by accident. My son has told me both of his trainers are just as comfortable as before and he loves not having to worry about his laces coming undone when he is playing football or playing with his friends.I would definately recommend these no tie shoelaces for any laced shoes they work for all ages.we love them and we will certainly be purchasing more in the future.

nice and comfy once you manage to get the anchors through the lace holes which can be hard if the holes are too small, but once they are on they are totally worth it. I was a bit skeptical about using them with my gym trainers but they held really well through several workouts so would definitely recommend if you are as lazy as I am about bending to do and undo your laces

I work a job where I have to be able to take and put my shoes on quickly. I got some of these thinking they’d be just what I need. I put them on my shoes and as I put my shoes on, they start to come out! I think to myself that it might just be bad luck, so I do it again, and the same thing happens! I try a few more times before I give up and now they’re sat in a drawer being unused. Waste of money!

Bought these for my son whose lace-tying is not great! These seemed like a great solution and were recommended but we found they were terrible. They fell out of the school shoes the first time he wore them. Don't waste your time or money - spend it instead on teaching how to tie laces properly!
