DVD Players for TV with HDMI, DVD Players That Play All Regions, Simple DVD Player for Elderly, CD Player for Home Stereo System, Included HDMI and RCA Cable

This is my second Electcom dvd player and I may buy a third. They are excellent multi region players and my first one is now about three years old ,and has not had a single problem. I have played dvd's from European countries on it in addition to dvd's that are made for the U.S. which is region number one. The picture is clear and the sound excellent. The remote functions as it should. I like the fact that it has RCA hookups in addition to an HDMI port. I recently had a $160 brand name unit crap out on me after less than a year's use, so I replaced it with an Electcom. The first one I purchased is being used by my mother, who at 87 years old is able to operate it without difficulty. They contacted me after my purchase just to make sure that I was satisfied, and when I had an issue with registering the second unit they helped me get it done without a hassle. When I find a good product at a reasonable price like their dvd player and get excellent customer service as well, I give them the review they deserve. The one year warranty is extended to three years if you register it and electronic products seldom comes with that length of a warranty. I'd like to see them come out with a Blue Ray player that performs as well as the dvd player does. They are a small business and I do support small businesses in general ,but especially when the experience is as good as it has been with Electcom! I don't think you can go wrong with an Electcom dvd player.

This company has the BEST customer service that I have ever experienced!!! This little DVD player is easy to use and we love it!! However, it stopped working. I contacted the company because it comes with a 3 year warranty. My request was handled in a very friendly manner and received a new machine after simply submitting a proof of purchase with my Amazon receipt! No hassles and just excellent customer service!!! I highly recommend this product to anyone.

somewhere I read that this unit is quiet while running. not liking background noise this was the number one reason for purchasing this DVE player. the only thing i don't like is when i am playing a Dvd i like to hit the info type button to see how far a long i am in the movie and how long the movie is in total in one display. while this unit shows that information, it took me a bit to figure out how to interrupt the displayed information to achieve my desired times. it takes two information displays to see this. other than that the unit works very well. i would give 4.5 stars if i could

I bought this as a gift for my niece. She recently moved into a house. She is very happy with it. She said it was easy to use. She liked the small size. I think it was a very good value for the money. It arrived quickly, well packaged. I like the convenience of buying on Amazon and being able to read lots of reviews before buying an item or gift for someone. Those reviews are such a big help. They helped me make a choice when looking for this gift for my niece. It was exactly what she wanted. She wanted something small and easy to use. She wasn’t interested in all the bells and whistles. Just something that was simple and easy.

So far it works like a charm! It did appear that it had previously been opened and I was worried it was a defective model that someone returned. My husband installed it and even hooked it up to our trailer surround sound. It’s perfect, fits exactly, we can take it down and keep it in the box until we arrive somewhere with our trailer, and the picture quality of the DVD is crystal clear. Our trailer’s DVD player had issues and rather than going through all the trailer wiring or replacing the whole entertainment console we’d figured it would actually be better to get a separate DVD player that we could store in the original box keeping it protected until we use it each time. Very happy!

I purchased this DVD player for my husband. The player was skipping the middle of some DVDs consistently. My husband contaced Electcom and they replaced it. He can now play his DVDs without any issues. We appreciate the attention given by the company. They have great customer service.

Attention! This dvd player will Not work in auto mode, when playing foreign dvds. You have to put it on NTSC mode for foreign and U.S. dvds. Took awhile to figure it out. Must be a defect in the player. Also, when you turn the player off. The light stays on and says "OFF". I was going to return it. But, this is the 2nd dvd player I gotten from Amazon in a week, that was defective. The other was a different brand. I'm tired of running to UPS to return defective Amazon products. I'll Iive with it. Funny, on Amazon returns, they say they want to keep their trucks off the road to save gas. Hi - this is a fine DVD player with just one problem. It does not have the memory to hold where one left off in the event you have to remove a DVD to play another.Then put the first one back in. It doesn't remember where it was left off/stopped.That is a drag. Because then one has to figure out where one stopped to be able to begin watching again.Other than that, it's decent.Thank you.
