It's sturdy. The arm doesn't shake - it's well-built. The only reason why I don't give this a 5 is the arm is somewhat short and the plastic holder that wraps around the phone would be better if you didn't have to plug the power in through the hole. It's putting pressure on the connector, so a two-finger / "claw" style would work better I think? Other than that it's a nice phone holder.

Updated Review: I was impressed to hear back from the sellers when I decided to return this item. They contacted me via email, issued a refund and apologized for my dissatisfaction. They encouraged me to keep the stand and take some additional time to try it out. I think if I leave it by my bedside with weight on the base instead of moving it from room to room, it will at least work for one area of my home and that is a far better experience than having to return the product. Kudos to the seller's for being so wonderful to work with. That is a unique experience purchasing from such a big retailer like amazon.Updated review: I get the complaints now. So what happens is you change position, move your tablet and the adjustable arm, but it doesnt move thr base, so the base stays put and then the whole thing is off balance and it will fall over. So if you want to adjust it you have to pick up the whole thing, move the base in the correct direction then adjust. The bottom is very heavy and seems sturdy, but I could see it falling over if your not careful about positioning it correctly. If you set it up to face you in the direction it shows in my photo, you will find it is much sturdier. I saw some negative reviews about the weight distribution and it falling over, but I think if you have it set up correctly you wont have that issue. The base is a flat rectangle, so even if you feel it is not sturdy. You can easily add weight to hold it in place. If the base is the other direction it is not stable, so pay attention to the base.The adjustable setting is very versatile. I can even lay on the floor and read! Nice!

I really like my Creatop Tablet Floor Stand with Flexible Gooseneck and Stable Aluminum Base it has made watching shows on my tablet very comfortable. The only problem the base is not heavy enough. I fix the problem placing a 5 lb hand weight on top of the base. I bought it because I spend a lot of time watching Amazon prime sitting in my favorite recliner before I bought this my hands would get tire holding the tablet to eye level, now I just relax and watch.

I’ve ordered and returned two other iPad stands…but I’m keeping this one! The four components easily screw together, the platform on the floor is slim but sturdy, and the arm that bends is flexible enough to get the angle you want but strong enough to stay in place and hold your device. The piece that grips your device also twists and turns to fine tune the viewing angle. I’m using it now, 2500 miles from home (thanks Amazon!), but when I leave it will “disassemble” easily to go in my luggage. Nice product …just as described online.

This item is just as advertised. I ordered this flexible stand for my wife, who is an avid E-book user. She would get neck and arm pain always holding and looking down at the electronic tablet style reader. Now she can read hands free and can adjust the stand / reader to a desired comfort height and angle. The stand is weighted and balanced enough for her E-reader; therefore, use with even a large cell phone should be no problem. The stand is stable enough and locks the E-reader in place in a manner that allows operating the screen controls without issue. My wife uses the stand while sitting in the living room chair or couch, lying in bed, or along-side the treadmill. It is stylish enough for the living room. Product arrived on time and as ordered. Good value.
