Many reviews say the backs are too small. I would say they fit but are very snug. You need strong fingers/hands to secure them, but once you get them on they're is no worries they'll accidentally come off.

6mm worked well for the ducks I'm making for my October cruise! Some eyes did have extra plastic around them, but there's so many that even with a few duds it's worth the price. The posts on the eyes are sturdy and while it is a little difficult to get the backs on the small eyes, they definitely won't come undone.

I’ve bought the 12mm and 16mm versions of these eyes for my crochet projects and they work very well! The eyes are very consistent too, with almost all being perfectly shaped and staying in. Also, they are waaaay less expensive than getting doll eyes from some craft stores that charge $3 for two pairs! Whoop whoop, saving money!!However, the 16mm eyes I bought are pretty scratched and scuffed from the plastic box they came in. The storage box is decent quality, but it’s too short for the 16mm eyes and near-impossible to reclose without feeling like I’m going to break the eyes or damage them further. I’m still going to use the scratched eyes, because they’re still functional, but I’m disappointed that the box doesn’t fit them!

I bought these for my crochet characters. They are the perfect size and price but are sometimes hard to attached. I had to use plyers on a few.

Everything I expected was in the package and works perfectly for my Amigurumi.

The shafts of the plastic eyes have minimal ridges on them (next to none). This means that the plastic dome washer that slides onto the shaft has nothing to grip onto, and will slide off when even a small amount of force is applied. In my experience, they fall off while still assembling the project.
