Lightweight Heated Vest, 5V USB Electric Heating Vest for Outdoor Camping Hiking Fishing

This vest is an absolute must have for any outdoor enthusiast in a cold climate! It is made out of a thick, durable, spandex-like material that that has some weight to it and stretches a little bit. I have to say I wish I had bought this years ago. The vest is easy to use, just plug in a power bank (I recommend buying a small on specifically to use with this vest) and push the button. It works fast, taking only a couple of minutes to warm up. the fit is snug and the cut wears nicely on my body type and I'm glad there are so many temperature options because it can get downright hot in there. Just an all around well made product that performs better than expected.

I purchased this for my husband as an emergency replacement gift, because the vest I ordered first didn't arrive. He works at night in a warehouse where the doors are always open because of trucks coming and going. He loved the vest, and reported that it kept him warm and comfortable during his entire shift. For the first time in a long time, he didn't have a problem with his lungs during winter, and he reported less back pain, too.However, after six months, the vest just died. There was no warning. Multiple power sources were tried. The vest just shut off one day and never turned back on. For the price I paid, I had at least hoped it would last longer!So, this vest does a great job and is very effective--but doesn't last very long, and is too expensive to be considered disposable.

I've never tried a heated vest before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This one definitely worked though. I could mainly feel the heat on my belly and not much on my back, but I suspect that backs are a lot less sensitive to heat, so I'm assuming that was it. It actually felt like it was burning my belly at times, but maybe my shirt had slid up while I was sitting so that it was right against my belly. I slid my hand inside to feel it though, but it didn't feel at all hot or even much warm. When you use it though, you definitely feel the heat inside. I kept it on high all the time though, since I figured such a low-powered device would need all the power it could get. My wife is excited about this product and has been sending pictures of me wearing it to her friends and parents to see if they want one.Overall, I am happy with this product and would probably buy it again if I had the chance, but I did have a few negatives:1. The power cable is pretty thin. I'm mainly using this plugged in at my desk, since if I'm up and moving around, whatever work or exercise I am doing will keep me warm, so I won't need this then. I mainly got it to use in my basement office, which isn't heated. This allows me to save a lot of energy because I can just heat myself instead of heating my whole basement. The problem is if you get up and forget that you are plugged into your computer, the cord feels like it could rip right out before the USB cables would disconnect from each other. I think this could be easily remedied by supplying a small hook or strap to tether your cable to the vest, or else just make the cable thicker/sturdier.2. Similar to the first issue, the pocket for the battery is too small and has no way to close it. My battery barely fits into the pouch, and the top half is sticking out the top, so if you lean forward while using this the battery could easily slide right out and smash on the floor, probably ripping out the thin charger cable with it. This does not seem to be nearly as much of an issue as long as you wear another jacket over this, which makes sense to do anyway, but it would still be a very simple design improvement that would help a lot.3. One thing that I started to notice after wearing this a few days is that the vest is kind of stiff and makes it hard to bend over to do things. Since I'm using this sitting at my desk mostly, it's not a big deal, but when I have to get up to do other things, I notice it. It sounds like most people are getting these vests for doing active things, so maybe this should be considered, but I assume any vest like this will be the same.4. I normally wear a medium or large T-shirt in America, but I got the XX-large version of this vest, and it just barely fits me, so I would second what others have said about the sizes being way off from how big the vests really are. Adjust what you buy accordingly.5. Although the price is competitive with other similar products, I think they are ALL over-priced for what you get. Maybe if these become more popular, there will be more competition to drive prices down, but for now, I guess you have to pay what everyone is charging if you want a vest like this!

I bought this vest for my husband for work. He works outside a lot and the weater is getting colder! I was very surprised at how thin/lightweight this vest was! It fits well under layers without being bulky or uncomfortable. It has 3 levels of heat which is very useful for not so cold or very cold days!! He was able to use it the past few days and is extremely pleased with the performance of this vest!! Kept him nice and warm while he was working without being too warm. He used the medium heat setting. Very pleased with this purchase!!! Highly recommend for any outdoor workers or cold weather enthusiasts !

Bought this vest to keep me warm while I work outside this winter. I read other reviews that said the vest sizes ran small and bought a size Large. I am 5'8", 170lbs. With only a t-shirt underneath, its a little loose but with a sweater underneath, it fits well.The vest has 3 temperature settings. The vest pulls ~1.5A max in the high setting. The vest gets quite warm but not hot enough to burn. You really need to press against the vest to feel the heat. I found that a down jacket over the heated vest works best. The down keeps the heat in and thus improves the heating function. If you wear the vest as the outermost layer, most of the heat is lost. With a down jacket on, this heated vest is exactly what I'm looking for.There are two pockets on the front of the vest, 1 is dedicated to hold a usb battery pack for the vest. I used a 12,000mAH pack I had that fit well. It contains 4 18650 cells. At the high setting, this should power the vest for 8 hours (12AH/1.5A). The vest fabric has some stretch to it which allows it to fit multiple size power packs.The vest also comes with a cleaning bag to use in the washing machine an a silicone cover to protect the USB connector while in the wash. This is a nice addition and looks like it will work well.

In winter sometime people do not go out if it is urgent too, due to cold weather, but you have to do that work because work is also important and most important is your health . actually if I talk about my self i get sick very fast in winter , thats why i dont go out alot and can not enjoy the season of winter , but now you can enjoy and will not get sick. this is only possible because of this super heating vest .this amazing vest is easily chargeable, thin and stylish ,can be found in every size for male and female, washable ,and very important it doesn't get very hot , keeps you warm in very cold weather . i am very happy purchasing it and thinking to buy it for my mother too.
