Great for zucchini noodles, not so much for other veggies
When I ordered this zoodle maker a few weeks ago, it had a different description and only 2 cutting blades, not 4. When it arrived a few days later. I checked the description and noticed that it had been changed to the present photo showing 4 blades and am improved design. Make sure you get the one in the picture. I think it would have been appropriate for the manufacturer to separate the old and new models with different photos. I was disappointed that the maker simply replaced the photo and still sold the old zoodle maker to me, however the price does appear to have been the same.In any case, mine has only 2 choices for cutting blades, and I find that zucchini works nicely on the larger one. I've tried a few other vegetables, but if they're harder than zucchini, they really don't work well. They tend to shred rather than turn out in noodles. So, all in all, I'm not delighted, but it does make handsome noodles out of zucchini, and if that's what you're buying it for, you'll mostly likely be pleased. Just be sure it's the one with 4 blades that you receive.

Z is for zucchini and so is this slicer.
Prior to owning the Spiroslicer I had only a nodding acquaintance with zucchini. I usually turned down the kind neighbors who wanted to give me some from their summer gardens. I explained that I really didn't know what to do with the vegetable and I wasn't motivated enough to find out. A friend invited me for dinner and served meatballs and tomato sauce over the zucchini noodles. I really enjoyed it. So I ordered the slicer. I have, so far made a few very tasty meals with zucchini noodles from recipes that I found on the internet. Medium size zucchini, I find makes the turning of the slicer effortless, and it's fun! (I'm easily amused.) The little gadget doesn't take up storage room; it's sturdy; and it's easy to clean. It is, however, almost exclusively made for zucchini -- you can try slicing other vegetables, but I think the results will be disappointing.

Is it me? Probably....
I so want to love this!I'm giving it the benefit of doubt..Have to try it again... a few more times.. I just can't seem to get the hang of it.I see numerous pins on pintrest for zucchini noodles (Zoodles) and carrot noodles. And so want to be able to make so I keep trying to make and enjoy them.. but as I try with my Delightful Chef Spiralizer.. I end up with rice or pastina... not noodles.Of course it all tastes good.. but as I stated, hoping that with more practice I will get the hang of it.Not gonna degrade the product until I know for sure who's fault it is.. lol..If you buy it and have tips for me please post OK? Thanks!!!!!

Good, but not great
I really like making zoodles, and this tool helps. it works great as long as you can get a good grip on the item you are slicing. I still have not decided which is better to turn the blades or the food. It works great with zucchini but with some of the other items like radishes it was quite difficult. The cap that you are supposed to use to twist easier does not have long enough teeth and it just shreds the end rather than twist into the slicer. I do like the free ceramic peeler though, it works great!

I love it! I have been making zucchini noodles with ...
I love it! I have been making zucchini noodles with a potato peeler for a few weeks, and having the long, flat "lasagna" type noodles was great, but I wanted something to fix my spaghetti cravings! I bought this hoping it would work well enough - well, it definitely surpassed my expectations.I got myself a great big zucchini to test this sucker out - this is important, since the slicer needs a hefty vegetable to grab on to - and went crazy with it. By the end of about five (very fun, kind of slippery) minutes, I had a plate that was HEAPING with long, unending strands of noodles, and all I had leftover was one end of the zucchini and a pencil-sized core, both of which I just tossed out. A tip for the first time user: spin spin spin away, but remember to trim off the noodles every so often. I ended up having to slice the noodles once cut, which was fine, but I had some funny sizes. Keeping the blades in contact with the zucchini is important, too, but this isn't a difficult tool to get a hang of.The zucchini noodles were DELICIOUS, by the way. I sauteed them in some olive oil, garlic salt, pepper, and onion, then poured on my sauce, and they were just the right consistency to fool my taste buds into thinking they were getting real, carb-heavy noodles.I bought one for my parents, too. That's how much I love this thing!!!

like some, I did cut myself
I took a lot of reviews into consideration before purchase. I wanted to give this spiralizer trend a try especially because I have little ones that need to eat hidden veggies :)You get what you pay for. I must say on my first try, like some, I did cut myself. It's small and effective (with a lot of time) If you are looking for a quick spiralizer, I recommend NOT getting this one. If you are looking for a cheap spiralizer to try, this one is for you. I wish I would've spent a few dollars more and gotten a better one.

Simple and Effective
Not sure I can say anything about this that hasn't already been said by other reviewers but it's all true! First, the company has excellent customer service - emailing recipes and instructions before it even arrives. I like it for its simplicity - no complicated parts to assemble and try to keep together in a drawer or cupboard - this is just the gadget and a small flat holder for when you get to the end of a vegetable and need to protect your fingers. It comes with a little bag so you can just pop it in when you're done and it's easy to find next time you need it.It works great - zucchini noodles in a few seconds - just keep the pressure on as you twist the vegetable against the blade. If you want curly fries you will need to use, or cut, a potato that will fit into it. Great for hash browns too. I didn't think I liked zucchini but we are prepping to do the Whole30 plan after the holidays so we thought we would try it as a substitute for pasta and we were pleasantly surprised. I expect to be using this often and I think it will be a definite help in our attempt to eat more vegetables.Easy to clean and store - even the peeler that comes with it is good!
