so far so good
as a machinist , I am always needing to mark metals-- aluminum. mild steel, pipe, etc. and I usually use white chalk. but I saw this product listed and decided to try it. is working fine so far. will have to give an update after it sits on the bench a few days. it did take me a few minutes to figure out, but I got it! im old and I don't claim to be the brightest bulb in the box. lol

overpriced and poor quality
this one marker costs as much as 4 that are bigger and work better than this. Shop around and don't throw money away on this marker.

Chalk it up to a good buy!
I got this because I love to use chalk paint. Ever since I found ti I have been going nuts. My favorite thing to paint with it is pots for plants. I spray them with the chalk paint and they become a chalkboard! That is pretty neat. I can then write on them and decorate them. I like to include the name of the plant in the pot with some nice flower or silly things. The problem I faced was that the chalk I was using was crude looking and not at all nice ans smooth. I was out at a restaurant and they had a lovely chalk board with a beautiful drawing next to some lovely written menu specials. I asked how they got the chalk to look so nice and they said they use liquid chalk. Brilliant!I got this one to test it out to see if I could recreate that nice smooth look before buying a set of colored ones. This works great. It was easy to use and it went on smoothly. The directions said to hold it down for 2 minutes to prime it but I found that just a few seconds did the trick. When I made a mistake it was easy to remove and restart. I even had a little fun on the bathroom mirror leaving notes for hubby in the morning.I swear I have used this one everything thing I can think of and it still has more chalk to give. It is pretty awesome and I am so glad I ask the restaurant that day. Great chalk pen for your crafting or organizing needs and MORE!
I love this chalk pen. I am an organizer. I feel like I am constantly looking for something to make it easier. Honestly regular chalk is just too Hard to keep on the chalk labels and i really wanted to figure out a way to make my handwriting look a little nicer. This pen is SOOO easy to use. I couldn't wait to get it out of the package and i started on my labels and organizing. (Update with photos coming soon..Im not done yet!) The pen works great. The 'chalk' comes out very evenly and the tip is perfect for writing with very neatly. It is extremely smooth and beautiful when you are done. It is very easy to wipe off and doesn't leave a haze where you used it. I am very impressed with this pen. I will be buying more of these for sure. Love them!I did receive a discount in exchange for an honest review. However, this not affect my reviews. I order things that I need or am already in the market for.
