Indian Fire Bowls are so versatile as not only are they a stunning garden/patio feature and barbecue, the fire bowls can also be used as a fire pit for when the nights get colder but your BBQ/party still goes on. Simply fill with logs sit back, relax and enjoy your own unique taste of India or why not fill with plants during the winter months to create a stunning centre piece for your garden! Our range of recycled fire bowls start life as oil drums and are hand crafted, carefully shaped and riveted in the traditional way for strength and durability. Large drop ring handles are also added to allow you to move the bowls easily. To use as a fire bowl: Make a pyramid using paper, placing kindling or firelighters at the centre. Light kindling or fire lighter and gradually add larger pieces of wood to increase the flames and keep it burning. To use as a barbeque: Make a pyramid using charcoal and place a firelighter in the centre. Light and wait for the charcoal to turn grey/white in colour. You are now ready to cook. Top Tips: The centre of the grill is the hottest area, the outside edges are perfect for keeping food warm. After barbecuing you can continue to use your bowl as a fire pit by adding more wood straight after cooking. Only burn dry wood - the dryer the wood, less smoke there will be! To prolong the life of your fire bowl, when cold apply a thin layer of vegetable oil using kitchen towel or similar in-between uses.
