When I read other reviews talking about the shedding I’m like okay is it really that bad?Yeah. It sheds and gets everywhere and all under it. And when I vacuum it, it gets stuck in the vacuum roller brush and then flakes off on other surfaces I vacuum afterward. I have two of these in the large size for our two mastiffs beds. Considering I have two, I don’t think the shedding is TERRIBLE but I do notice it throughout the house and especially by the beds. Another con is that the furry part is white (or was for 2 seconds) and is now all stained and nasty, and I’ve only had them a month.Overall I like the idea.If it didn’t shed and was a different color I’d repurchase for sure

I have mostly outdoor dogs, two German Shepherds. They shredded these in days. To prove my point, there is a reflective foil in the middle of the sherpa lining, and my dogs easily exposed it, then shredded the rest. Why dogs do this, who knows, but it is up to manufacturers to make a product that won't disintegrate when dogs do these things. Sadly these were not worth the money, but for the few days they lasted they really did their job. I just cannot recommend products that fail. If you have a sweet and gentle dog with no propensity to scratch, dig or tear apart things, this is a good product for you.

I like that it’s double lined and can be made reversible. I prefer this warming mat rather than the cooling mat, which I also got for my doggies because warming mat seems more durable and so far no tears on the corners. It would be nice if the warming mat came in defferent color rather than just beige so doesnt start to look dirty after a couple of days. The warming mat also started to shred a little but corners still in tact compared to the cooling mat. Overall, still satisfied with it because my doggies like to chew their bedding if cushion and this is the only one they can use. I got a Large for two 25 lb doggies to share. But in hindsight, I think I should gave gotten two Medium for each of them.

We have a15 pound Maltese, a 70 pound Doberman, and a 60 pound pit bull. We have gone through 10 beds in 6 months! The dogs love to "make" their beds by circling around and scratching. Every single bed has torn in less than a week. Our last one lasted 2 days. The dogs do not scratch excessively. When they come in from outside, they run to them and jump on them and they have sagged quickly and the seam ripped on two of them. Love the concept, hate the lack of durability!

I wish I could say that it works as advertised, but I don't use it. I do have one dog that used this cover as a mat in his dog house all winter. We get temperatures in the single digits and he has the option of coming in. Evidently the mat works because he stayed out most of the time. I would definitely purchase again.

We live in the Midwest and this is perfect to helpkeep our dog comfortable during the chilly weather. If weather permits we place it on the deck during the day and bring it in at night. We have a three-season enclosure attached to the back of ourhouse. If it is too cold outside she will lay insidethe enclosure on this self-warming cot.

This is a fleece top. I ordered it wrong. It stays wet and does not dry out. Dogs don’t lay on it much. I don’t think these are good for outside I would not order it again

3 dogs, one 70# GSD, one 50# collie, one 35# pit bull (adult, not a puppy).Collie refuses to lay on any bed. He's goofy.German Shepherd and pit bull had a staring match over this! She is the boss and made the GSD get off but both wanted it.I purchased a cooling bed and then this fleece cover separately.About the same size as a coolaroo medium cot (see pictures attached). Holds more and not saggy (I sat on it too for good measure, with my dogs, and I'm 150 lbs by myself! ) and of course, more solid and warm than the mesh cot. 5 stars from the kids.Will update if anything goes wrong but assume no news is good news!

I bought this cover as a cold-weather alternative when our dog was diagnosed with cancer. It's very durable, is easy to wash and dries quickly. We have other K&H products and find them well designed and very good value.

I bought the medium size for my 40lbs Formosan Mountain Dog—the fit/size is great for him.These dogs tend to sleep curled up in a donut shape, so there is plenty of space "left over"—but he stretches out as well.I bought the regular mesh cover as well as this Self-Warming cover. When the weather got warmer and I swapped out the warmer cover for the mesh, he would not use the bed any more!So the Self-Warming cover is back on. Once the temperature gets really hot in the height of summer, maybe he'll get the idea of the mesh cover being a good thing!Great products (the bed frame, and the different interchangeable covers)!

So impressed with the product and the service. I was astounded to receive my product in 24 hours of placing my order. I have a boxer who loves being out in the garage for hours. I wanted a self warming blanket to keep him warm. He loves it. I originally ordered the incorrect cover for the cot and returning the product for the correct one. K&H exchange and return was simple and easy. Will definitely order from K&H again. Highly recommend their product.

This cover ripped in the first few days. Inside is a foil coloured lining that shredded. Disappointed.

I originally purchased a K and H pet bed approximately 3 years ago. It was well used and i had to replace it. This bed is ideal for our Canadian Winter. I have washed it off a few times(in the shower), and it dries quickly.
