My First Big Book of Fairy Tales (My First Big Book of Coloring)

My grandchildren love this coloring book. I highly recommend it and the rest of the series. They all love it from the 2 year old to the 10 year old. What they like the best is the simplicity of the pages. Just one item per page. What they explained to me is that most coloring books are too busy.

I absolutely love these books!! The pages are nice and thick, so marker doesn't go through easily (we usually stick to crayons, regardless). The pictures are perfect for younger kids! I've noticed with other coloring books, my toddlers and young kids get overwhelmed when they have to color a large detailed picture with a background. These lines are thick and there is just one thing to color per page, no background scenery in the pictures. The kids are excited to color instead of not knowing where to start! And such a fantastic price! Definitely will buy again!

After finding the dinosaur version of this colorong book in Walmart last fall, I was happy to see they had a whole line on Amazon! My daughter is 3.5 and loves the large, simple designs to color. I love that there are no "activities", since those are usually meant for 5 year olds or older! (No three year old can do word unscrambles ok? Seriously. ) The paper is very sturdy and the designs don't seem to repeat (they do in the dinosaur book). This covers all the classic Disney fairy tales, as well as some that haven't been made into Disney movies. I actually enjoy coloring some of the designs as well, this kind of coloring book is far more relaxing to me than the overly detailed "adult" coloring books. And my daughter loves it when I color with her so it's a win for everyone. :D

These are our favorite coloring books. The paper is thicker, so it is perfect for markers without having to worry about the paper ripping. The designs are simplistic and better suited for younger children. It’s completely worth the extra money. We don’t even touch our other coloring books since getting these.

This coloring book is well done and perfect for preschool and toddlers. Simple pictures, well drawn and easy to tear out. Not perforated but still tears out quite easily. This book covers so many fairy and folk tales! Lots of uses!

I love how it has thicker lines and no small details that can be hard to do for a 4 year old. We already have My First Big Coloring Book and it has been a hot, so got this one too along with the Unicorn book. My daughter colors every day and always goes for these

Perfect pictures. Easy to identify, easy to color for kids. Only wish the pages were perforated.

I bought this coloring book for our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter's Easter Basket. She bypassed the chocolate and other treats and was very engaged with the book. She kept turning the pages and identifying the various characters. I agree with other reviewers who liked the simple drawings on each page. Not overly busy.

Love thé big pictures. Too much detail isn’t a hit in our house with a 4 and 6 yr old. This one is perfect and white pages are a bonus.
