I had another color-changing mug for a number of years, but the color was fading and I decided to get a new one. After looking around online, I found I couldn't find the same one I had previously, so I finally just bought this one instead. The photos look nice, but seeing it in real life, I was surprised how big it is. This is not a problem for me at all as I drink a LOT of coffee, but be aware this is not a regular coffee mug size! This is easily twice as large as normal "big" coffee cups.But the color change effect is really neat! The art is beautifully made and it really comes to life when there's hot coffee pouring into it. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my fiancé because he wanted bigger coffee mugs and I thought this one was cool because he likes sugar skulls. Unfortunately I think the one I received might be defective because it doesn't change colors when hot liquids are poured into it.Otherwise it's cute and he definitely likes the size.

I bought this for my husband since he is a hot chocolate freak even in the summer. Every night before he goes to bed. It changed things up a bit to watch the mug slowly change to colors. The only downside is it can't go in the dishwasher and the liquid has to be really, really hot to get the color effect.

Great mug but it was put in the dishwasher and the pattern started to melt off.

The design is just a sticker stuck on the cup, it came off the first time I washed it.

I love the size and it is cool that it changes color, just wish it had more vibrant colors and better warm design.

I bought one for home and one for my office. I wanted a mug that held more than one small mug of tea and was also fun, funky and pretty. The color change of this mug is so cool! I love it when it's hot and cold. It's just awesome. Makes me happy! I will hand wash just so it doesn't wash off.

Don't use it, only pour warm water in to watch it change. Hand washing caused much damage, even with a cloth... unsatisfied

Ideal for that first cup of coffee in the morning... downside.. someone will complain about using 1/2 the pot for it!!.Can't use in microwave to reheat. Otherwise excellent for gifting.

I like the size, but you can't use it in a microwave... so it can be a challenge to drink it before it cools down.
