Warm fleece socks
These are nice warm fleece socks. They do NOT stretch, though. Not a bit. As a result they are a bit difficult to put on and remove. They also tend to wrinkle a bit and the wrinkles do not contribute to overall comfort. They are nice, but I was hoping for fleece that is a bit thicker and with a bit of stretch to better conform to my foot shape for a smoother fit.

Wonderfully warm but a little oversized.
Very well sewn and warm. They are a little oversized so go down a size if you are on the border between sizes or even close to it. Made in Ukraine, which made me happy. Good to be supporting a business there these days!

Fleece is one of the most underrated materials when it comes to layering up and this is the first time I encountered reinforced fleece socks meant for boot hiking in cold weather--as opposed to lounging at home. They feel durable, soft, well made, and they don't shed like the cotton and wool based socks tend to. They kept my feet warm in 40 and upper 30-degree temperatures. But then the winter winds hit hard. Below 30 degrees, when I remained static on the ground, my feet would begin to chill quickly. It didn't help that the cushioning is virtually absent because it puts a substantial strain on the heel. They're also not particularly stretchy, you have to get your exact size and hope it fits well; mine was a size down from specified. Ultimately I bit the bullet and paid up 10 more bucks for wool-based Darn Tough T4033, which I don't regret doing. Fleece hiking socks are a cool idea, but the socks either need to be thicker or my boots need to be warmer and more cushioned. Having said that, more expensive boots are more expensive than the more expensive socks, and the more expensive socks carry a benefit of keeping the feet warm around the house as well.

Great insulation!
I use these over wool socks to add extra insulation to my 200 gram insulated boots when it’s colder out. They definitely help make the boots, which are also a 1/2 size too big, fit and keep me warm. I definitely wouldn’t leave these behind ever now when I’m packing for long winter hunts/hikes.

Warm and comfi
These socks were my go to for topper socks any time my feet got damp from washing trucks I throw these on top of my other under armor socks and my feet stayed dry and warm! They felt snug at first but they loosen up, I’d take them off when I got home and wouldn’t were walking around the house so I didn’t have to wash them until I wore them a few more times . Even if the sock had water splashed on them or got wet on the out side they were dry and kept my feet dry! I would def recommend.
