I haven't tried this with spaghetti, but I've tried it with boiled eggs, and it works great! Love it!

I'm very happy I decided to get this. Less space than a colander takes up!

This is a novel idea and works well in some circumstances but not so well in others. It works well for straining things that are larger chunks like potatoes or boiled eggs, but most pasta slips right through the holes and the larger the pot you are using it on, the larger the holes are going to be because you stretch it over the pot and the more you stretch it the bigger the holes get.Pros:* Stretches over most sized pans* Soft silicone can withstand high temperatures* Doesn't take up a lot of storage space* Can also be used to steam veggies over a pan of hot waterCons:* Doesn't grip tightly enough on smaller pots* Doesn't fit larger pots* Holes are too big for straining most foods that require it such as pasta.I think if they redesigned this to have smaller holes it would be more useful, but as it is, it is only useful sometimes.Sample provided for honest review.

This stretchy collander is great for larger pastas! It's nice to not have to pull out a bulky collander to strain spaghetti or rigatoni!! It cleans very easily, and stores flat! The silicone material clongs to the sides of the pan when straining.This item was provided to me for an honest review.

I think it is very useful item when I am busy.
