Exile Machine's Hammerhead replaces the pistol grip on your AR-15. When configured properly it can help you keep your rifle legal in jurisdictions where the pistol grip is restricted. In operation it feels very much like holding a wooden rifle. Manufactured from a very strong engineered polymer material, it'll survive the most challenging missions. Hammerhead is engineered and tested to work with mil-spec forged AR-15 lower receivers. While the product may work with billet lowers, these lowers often have wide variances in dimensioning that could impact the fit of this product. It may be necessary to modify the product to fit on any given billet lower. Modifications to the product void the warranty. Use of an ambidextrous safety selector lever with this product is strongly recommended. IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AT THE URL PRINTED ON THE CARD PACKAGED WITH THE PRODUCT To preserve accuracy of the rifle, Hammerhead is designed to be an extremely (insanely) tight fit to the lower receiver. A tight fit is far preferable to a loose fit. Hammerhead is part of your stock now, not just a place to hold on. Any wobbliness here is going to show up as degraded accuracy at the target. In some cases it may seem that the Hammerhead is so tight that it just won't go on. But it will. There is no need to file or otherwise modify the Hammerhead.
