Will tell my dermatologist about this product
My skin had become so sensitive that even my dermatologist had run out of suggestions for products. Every moisturizer or cream that I used would burn like fire for a few minutes after I applied it. My Shea Butter does not burn at all. It soothes my skin, and the effect lasts so that when I apply my makeup it doesn't sting either. I love the way it feels on my hands, arms and legs. The effect is amazingly long lasting. I think my quest for a skin cream has come to an end! Thank you, Synergistic Living. And just a note: This company provides the greatest customer service ever! They were so gracious to me and so generous in helping me solving a problem I had with my choice of creams. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Awesome Product, Awesome Customer Service!
I love organic products and prefer them over expensive "beauty products" that don't do near what the natural products do. I love the scent of patchouli and it seemed that it would be a perfect compliment to the shea butter. It's wonderful! The funny part is that when it arrived the lid was partially cracked off so I contacted the company. Because the shea butter appeared to be dry I was worried that the product had been compromised. This is where the awesome customer service came in to play, Julie explained to me that shea butter is indeed hard in it's natural, pure state and that all it requires is a bit of warming up either with a hair dryer or by rubbing it between your hands. It then speads smoothly and soaks in nicely. They are also sending me a replacement lid which was unexpected but appreciated. I'm extremely pleased with this product and will by from this company again, when you find awesome customer service it makes it a pleasure to give them your business! Love it!

Awesome Pure Moisturizing Goodness!
I absolutely LOVE Synergistic Living's Shea Nut Butter! I ordered the patchouli variety, and I could not be more satisfied. The shea butter itself is pure and organic and is so wonderfully moisturizing to the skin. Add to that the beautiful (personal opinion!) scent of pure patchouli oil, and the product is perfect for me. The amount you receive is a truly generous 16 ounces, and even with daily use will easily last for a few months or longer. Also, if patchouli is not your scent, Synergistic Living offers their Shea Nut Butter in a variety of other scents. I tend to like the woodsy scents, so I am also interested in trying the cypress and the frankincense varieties. If you like citrus scents, you will find the butter in orange, grapefruit and lime scents. They also have ginger-orange and lemongrass. For those who enjoy floral scents, there is ylang ylang and also lavender. There are plenty of others, too! All of the scents that Synergistic Living uses in their Shea Nut Butter are totally natural and beneficial essential oils. There are no perfume oils - which are filled with chemicals. I can put the shea nut butter on after shaving my legs, and they are still smooth and supple the next day when I shower! The butter is thick, and has to be rubbed in, but it is really not much more of a procedure than rubbing in a regular lotion. The benefits that you get from taking the few extra seconds to use the butter far outweigh the extra time you spend. My grown daughter wasn't sure that she would like anything as thick as a nut butter on her legs, but I told her that if you give it a try and stick with it for two or three days, you will see such an improvement in your skin that you won't want to go back to lotions. She finally tried the shea nut butter and now would not be without it. Her legs look like they have been air-brushed! The skin on her legs is so smooth and has just a little bit of a gleam now - very healthy looking. Oh, and also fabulous for feet! We tried putting a substantial layer of the nut butter on our feet and sleeping in cotton socks. We both did this for three nights and our feet were so soft! This is great after a long winter wearing closed shoes! Gets your feet ready for your summer sandals! I think that this company has an excellent product that is natural, pure and organic! I think you will be happy, too, if you try it!

The product itself was wonderful; the butter does need to be softened in order to use it, similar to cocoa butter, and at first the scent of patchouli was vague. However, when I held a small quantity of the butter in my hand, the aroma and I did not get along; everyone's sense of smell has its own fine tunings. Jill, one of the owners of the company, had sent me a very gracious email at the time of my order, thanking me for my purchase and inviting comments.I hesitated for a day or so and then responded, letting her know that I could find no way to make the patchouli scented butter useful. The aroma was just not for me, although I use patchouli oils for many years. Jill was most kind and sent me a replacement jar of lavender scented butter, which I find wonderful. The butter has the same consistency, needing to be melted (I have a small teaspoon which I use to scoop out a small bit and melt between the palms of my hands; when melted, a small scoop goes a long way) and the fragrance much more pleasing to my olfactory senses.I was offered the patchouli scented butter to review, therefore only four stars. Had I been offered the lavender one, I would certainly have given it five.More than anything else in this adventure, I am thankful to find a company with a personal touch, a personal interest in the customer's satisfaction. To my heart, that is the basis for a company that will do well, for we reap what we sow. I trust Synergistic Living will do well in this cutthroat business world.
