Good Little Admin Pouch Rig
I bought this to use for CERT/SAR. I recently helped with a training course, and one of the students had a similar chest rig for quick access for first aid and other frequently needed supplies like pens, and I thought it was a good idea. I already had a plate carrier with a separate admin pouch for similar things at home, but I didn't want to scare people with a big, bulky tactical vest in a non-violent emergency situation, and I think this is a nice medium ground between "scary" tactical gear and utility gear for normal, everyday people. I got khaki instead of black, OD green, or camo specifically because it's a bit more neutral and less "threatening" to the normies. I would have gotten the red one if there was an option that included the chest straps.Anyways, the thing itself.**Likes**I really like the two-compartment set-up. The admin pouch I already had only had the one, which is fine, but having another pouch is handy, especially if you're using one pouch for your map, pens, pencils, and markers and the other pouch for your FAK. This gives you so much room for activities! Also, they toss in two free patches: an American flag in a matching color and their brand logo on a PVC patch.**Gripes**The only thing that bugs me on this is the map/document holder. Its a minor grip, but the fuzzy velcro is on the very bottom of the pouch, as in it's flat to the ground while you're wearing it like this _. The scratchy side of the velcro is on the bottom of the the map carrier like this I. If you've got your pouch open like you're looking at your map, its fine, the map carrier is laying down flat to the velcro on your pouch like this =. But when you go to close your pouch, they're not lined up anymore, and when it's stiff, it wants to separate the velcro from each other like this I_. You can fix it yourself by taking the map carrier and folding it back and forth over the velcro to train in a crease it can fold over while keeping the velcro together. Like I said, it's a minor gripe. The stitching for the velcro keeps your map from slipping down that far, so you won't be bending it that way.**Construction**The construction is pretty solid. I'd say its on par with 511 from back in the day when they weren't just a brand guys used to look like operators. The canvas feels good and the stitching is thorough, with reinforced double-stitching in a lot of high-stress areas like the zippers and straps. The buckles feel really strong. It reminds me of the plastic you'd find on the old 90's kit. The kind that'd only break after you did. You really gotta force the little tabs closed, and the buckles themselves take a little oomph to open and close. The netting feels pretty good on my back, though I haven't worn it out in the sun all day, so I can't say for sure whether or not it would stay comfy. As you can see in the pictures, the front has fuzzy velcro and the new style of MOLLE panel, and each row has rip-stop seams sewn in, which makes me confident I'm not going to accidentally tear something off the front.**Detailed Breakdown**The main compartment has 20 small loops that would fit your average pens, pencils, sharpies, and dry/wet erase markers, six medium elastic loops that would fit an oversized sharpie, chemlights, or mini-bottles of your choice hooch, and two large loops that would each comfortably fit a 24 pack of crayons. For the Marines out there, that's 48 whole crayons! It also has two pouches, one open-top and one zippered. The second pouch is more basic and has 2 small loops, 6 medium loops, and two large loops, along with two open-top pouches. Both pouches have the fuzzy velcro on the bottom. The map/document carrier is one-sided (as in only one side has clear plastic) and the backside is canvas with 8 small loops. It opens from the side with a strong velcro closure with two good tabs to grip onto that would each easily hold a skinny dry/wet erase marker. I don't have any wet-erase markers on hand, but I did try a dry-erase marker which wiped off just fine without leaving any marks. It did look like it was pooling up on the plastic, so I don't know if it would smudge if you closed it. I also don't have any China markers on hand to try out, so I can't say for certain how it would work. I did try using crayon on it, but it didn't leave so much as a faint streak.**Conclusion**All-in-all, I think the construction and design are good, and for the price, I'd say it's very competetive with big name brands like 511.

Great, BUT... Really a 4.5
I like to carry a variety of items when I work, but without the bulk. This chest harness really helps keeps things organized in a small package.Pros:1. Build quality is really good, especially considering the price. The laser-cut molle webbing helps keep it streamline without sacrificing utility capabilities.2. Small package, with a ton of storage options. I especially love how the back pocket flips down to 90º, makes it super easy to access your things without worrying it flopping out all the way.3. The option to mount this directly to a molle system is great if you want to mount this somewhere else--like a better chest harness (*more on that in the Cons*)Cons:1. *BIGGEST ISSUE* The design of the shoulder straps/harness needs some improvement. Granted, I'm wearing mine for 13+ hours a day and hardly sit, but the way it's designed, a lot of the strain is put on your traps and your lower back. The straps are fairly thin compared to other chest rigs/chest harness designs, without padding. I added some padding from my old plate carrier, but even then it didn't help.2. SIZING: Sizing this to your body is really time consuming, especially since the straps are REALLY LONG. I wish the harness could be adjustable AFTER you put it on. Tightening the rig to hug your torso more could help alleviate the strain I mentioned before, but it's honestly super inconvenient to get it to that point. Most tac vest/harness are designed to be easily tightened once worn by pulling on the straps, and this would greatly improve if it could utilize that system.Indifferent:1. There are extra side velcro straps that's supposed to keep your pouch secure, but I don't really feel it's necessary, especially since there isn't a real way to tuck it out of the way.2. Straps are LONG. It's great if you're a larger individual, but it does require some modification on your part to size it and (optional) getting rid of the excess. I recommend cutting off the excess strap at a 30º angle, and melting the cut ends with a lighter to prevent fraying.3. I wish the front pouch would also utilize the 90º system that the back pouch has, but that's a personal taste.Overall, the pouch itself is well designed and a great buy. If the issues with the harness are solved, then this would EASILY be a 5/5. I'm really glad with the purchase, but if you're like me and are planning to wear it for more than a couple hours straight, I would say buy the pouch ONLY and spend a little more $$ on a decent chest rig that distributes the weight better.

Great bag, not perfect.
Decent bag, has quite a few elastic straps for holding different items . Versatility and weight are great. The included patches are a very nice touch and are actually good quality . The mounting straps on the back are plentiful and seem to have great clasps…However durability and rigidness is lacking overall..The bag isn’t rigid at all which makes zipping it closed a two hand process . It just collapses in on itself while trying to zip it closed. The zippers are cheap and are not going to last long especially if you were to stuff the bag full, but I am overall happy with the purchase and I have it loaded and ready. As long as you don’t overstuff the bag I don’t foresee a problem!

Amazing bag
Great bag. No rip off back. The flag patch don't match the listing (who cares), I just wanted the bag. The part of the bag where it has two strings that create a 'rigid' opening is just an elastic string you have to adjust to get it right as seen in the listing (could be a very big plus or minus), not sure.To be clear, I'm a huge fan of the it's a very solid bag overall, not cheap feeling but the exact opposite, very solid. I came so close to keeping it. Unfortunately I'm going to return to this as I'm very picky with what I spend on. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, the two pouches are amazing and the build quality is 15/10 but ultimately it wasn't what I was looking for (for my very specific purpose.) Amazing bag overall, super high quality build and materials. I'm just looking for something else very specific. If you're looking for a bag just for your molle gear or to throw into your car trunk or bug out bag, 1000% recommended. Super super nice bag, can't say enough good things about it. Very top notch.
