20 Pairs Eyeglass Nose Pads, Comfort Soft Silicone Glasses Nose Pad, Anti-Slip Heighten Air Chamber Glasses Grips for Eyeglasses and Sunglasses

I have sensitive skin and prior to using this product, the sides of the bridge of my nose were always painful and my glasses would slip off my face when I looked down for any length of time. I have tried other adhesive type pads and have found that when I sweat, those pads become useless and frequently fall off. Also, I have tried pads that totally replace the original pads, but found they also become problematic because they really don't replace the original pads because of thickness and my vision suffers because of it. I thought I'd give this product a try because of the air chamber. It seemed like a new approach to the problem. This product actually works. It causes the glasses to sit where they were meant to sit, which is important because I have transition bi-focals and if they don't sit in the right place, I'm not getting my prescription use. My glasses also don't fall off when looking down anymore. I was SO tired of pushing my glasses back onto my nose where they belong. The bottom line is that even if you have tried all the other types of pads for your glasses and have given up, give these a try. I think you'll like them!

My glasses were slipping during hiking due to sweating. I ordered these to solve this problem. I cleaned the location for placement of the pads first with rubbing alcohol. They adhered perfectly. I am still on my first pair after 3 weeks. They do add a little thickness to the noise piece but the slipping problem has disappeared. The glasses are also slightly more comfortable sitting on my nose. For what I wanted they are perfect and work very well. I will continue to use them daily, even though I did not buy them for that purpose.

It seemed like a great idea, but might prove a problem for some customers. If you have a small bridge, or possibly one that is nearly flat, these may be the solution for you. If you have adjustable, hinged or "floating" nose pads, again, these may work for you. I have what may best be described as an average nose for a Northern European adult female, however, and wear the kind of plastic frames that has a single mold for the entire eyeglass frame. There's no separate "floating" nose pieces, just separate, hinged temple/ear pieces. My glasses have a tendency to slide down a bit, and right now that's a problem. I was in a car accident that caused the car's multiple air bags to deploy. In the process, my glasses were blasted off my face and destroyed. In addition to the usual fractured ribs, etc., apparently a small chip in the bridge of my nose on the left side was created. Nobody noticed at the time, but when I was out of the hospital and wearing glasses again, the chip became evident. It migrates a bit in the process of adjusting or putting my glasses on and taking them off, and sometimes my glasses were resting directly on the place where the chip left (I guess) a sharp edge. Obviously, the best thing to do until I get around to getting the nose issue looked at by a professional is to find a way to make the glasses stay put where I place them, and protect my nose against the hard frame where the latter contacts the nasal bone, especially on the left. I thought it would be poetic justice, of a sort, if "air bags" for my glasses worked to temporary resolve the issue created by car "air bags". Sorry to report that the glasses just fit more tightly and pressed harder against the injured area, so I ended up with red marks on both side of my nose, and the left side worse off than before. I hate to let perfectly good material go to waste, so I did a few things. First, I bought a much thinner set of pads for my glasses (Setex ultra-thin, clear nosepads with "Gecko Grip". Second, I took the "air bags" off the nosepiece of my glasses, and briefly set them aside. Third, I cleaned the nose piece again and put on the Setex nosepads, then cleaned the part of the temple/ear pieces that go behind my ears. I folded the previously used (and still very sticky )"air bags" over the tips of the ear pieces so that the fold was over the tip itself and the rest was over each side of the tip(s). The combination of Setex nose pads and the repurposed "air bags" seems to help keep my glasses in place pretty well. Please note: Be a bit careful taking the glasses off, as the silicone tends to grip even the fine hairs at the edge of the hairline behind the ears. About the cleaning, here's some good news for those with plastic frames and specialty lenses. I used an "ICloth" cleaning wipe, which contains isopropyl alcohol to clean the places where I intended to place the silicone, and carefully folded the wipe back into the little packet. Why? After I had put the pads on, which took a bit of doing to make sure they were properly placed, I could take the wipe out again while it was still damp and get my fingerprints off the lenses. There's one more thing one might wish to know. Upon receiving the package, you'll note that the front of the package states"10 Pairs". This is correct. On the back, however, it states "This package contains 2 silicone adhesive nose pads". Don't worry. What is actually meant is that each (slick paper) envelope inside the package contains a pair. There are ten thin envelopes, so one does in fact get ten pairs.

They are comfortable and discrete but they do come off when I use glasses cleaner spray. It seems to dissolve the adhesive. Otherwise these are top quality and work well.

If I had rated it before the first 2 weeks it would have got 5 stars. It lifted my frames 2 mm which centered it over my eyes and reduced eye fatigue. It was also quite comfortable to wear and fairly discreet. However after 10-14 days the adhesive begins to melt for whatever reason and seep around the edges. This is actually worse than if it simply fell off which I could live with considering the price and the fact that you get 10 pairs of them. The seeping glue finds it’s way onto your lenses and each cleaning session simply spreads it further taking things from bad to worse. It’s also messy to peel off the pads once they do this and you need to sit down and spend 10-20 mins peeling off the silicone and then the adhesive layer underneath before following up with cleaning solution and soft cloth to remove any remaining residue on the frames and lenses.

These actually worked. I was kind of surprised; I didn't think little sticky pads could make a difference. Background: I never spend the money on having my lenses made slim at the optometrist, so I wear super heavy, thick lenses. The weight has worn down any underlying tissue (Fat? Padding? Idk) on my nose bridge, to the point where the bone ridge is easy to feel through the skin. The skimpy little nose of my glasses sitting basically on the bone was uncomfortable. Result: these pads distributed the weight really well over my nose bridge. It was not instantaneous relief, because the soreness was still going for a bit, but by the end of the day I had no discomfort anymore! I don't have to keep rubbing the bridge of my nose all the time and looking like I'm pissed off at people! lol I unstuck them like 3 times and they still stuck back on perfectly. Super awesome adhesive. Idk how they do it!

Working good so far. had to get this because my lashes were hitting on the lens of my new specs. so i used the pads to increase distance between eyes and lens. also provides a firm grip. stays on firm while running, i use ear hooks too so that helps as well. i am active, i am worried about how lasting it will be with all the sweat and moisture, hopefully it works well!
