Worked like a charm!
I was skeptical about how easy it would be to train our cat with this but it worked really well.I was concerned about comments I’d read about the tray not being sturdy, but the tray we received was very sturdy, and we have a big ol’ ragdoll!I also appreciate the extra tray in case you need to try again. We didn’t need to do this but perhaps we can save it for a future second cat. Some tips...- We first put his litter tray into the bathroom, raised up beside the toilet seat.- A few days later we filled this tray with litter and put it on top of his litter tray.- Next we moved the tray onto the toilet properly and took away his litter box.- Next we just followed the instructions as normal!- Sometimes when we took away a stage of the tray he’d meow a bit but he’d go use it eventually.I think the advice they give in the instructions about going back a stage if cat isn’t happy is good to heed. When we removed the final bits of litter in the final stages, he would argue, so I put some back and slowly reduced it again and it worked on the second attempt. Now all we need to do is train him to flush!

Might work, might not
This toilet trainer is great quality. It's sturdy and having the second tray is really good, incase your cat needs to go back a step at any point of toilet training. So, the product itself is really good. But.... it's absolutely no guarantee that your cat will take to it. Obviously, the seat needs to fit the toilet, so it's quite small and shallow. My cat doesn't love it. At all. 60% of all the poops goes on the floor, next to the toilet. The litter tray is shallow, so she can't bury her poo. We have given her 2,5 weeks now just to get used to the tray and haven't even started to take any rings out yet but I can't get her to poo in it 100%. I've tried everything. Change of litter. I've even put it back on the floor where her litter tray used to be. But still, no luck.So good as a product but it all depends on how flexible your cat is to new things, weather this toilet trainer will work or not.

Didn't work for me
Disaster due to my toilet seat shape and size not being compatible with the tray. It would not stay, and would tip over whenever a cat wanted to use it. I would advise checking that your seat shape is compatible before buying.

I have a stupid cat
I tried this for a month and only got one hole removed. My cat is just too stupid to use this.I bought flushable litter, and filled both the old and new trays before I removed the old one a week later. The cat decided at first that it only wanted number 1's there and found places around the house to do number 2's. I had to clean my house top to bottom because of the cats bottom.Eventually she did number 2's in the tray and in trying to bury them flung litter encrusted cat craps out the bathroom door into the hallway at just the right distance to step on when coming through the front door. Luckily it's laminate. So rather than searching for lost poops that skid under the radiator or where she has found a new place to crap, I have put the old cat litter tray back and now only have one place to clean up.This may work on other cats, but mine is too stupid to understand anything more complex than how to catch and eat flies.
